this guy living all of our dreams
fistingendakenny facts
fistingendakenny get out there and live life. You can do anything you’d like
What I was thinking today...
And is so real it’s not even funny :) he’s down to earth and chill :)
Its always nice to see the old American cars being restored and used over there instead of rusting away in someones yard here in the states
Eh, honestly a lot of the stuff I had and worked on as a kid is now ridiculously expensive, and often priced for big budget restorers in far worse shape than we ever would have bothered with in the 80's or 90's. I mean, about twenty years ago, my s30 literally cost 250 bucks, a flatbed, a battery, and a locksmith. Sure, the motor could have been seized but I could have gotten that back in parts. :) And the dash wasn't even cracked.
Got my lucky knight hoodie on right now lol.
@@Threepointstar NICE!!!
They don't drive them much around, but it's sure nice to see them!
It's not for sale, i'm gonna fix it up someday
2:39 rule of thumb is that every single one is a kit car
Yeah no legit cobra is.just sitting outside at a small Japanese meet. They are worth millions
I've seen a grand total of 2 real ones in the states. Not that I mind the replicas, I've seen some will stuff done to those that you obviously couldn't do to an authentic one.
Agreed! Unless it's at a concorse or Goodwood Revival I just assume they are all kit cars.
It was also a 427 SOHC "Cammer" engine, those are SUPER rare as well, haha!
@@bfdtyper That's the one thing that made me contemplate whether or not the car itself was real.
In general you just never know with Japan, some incredibly rare cars have a strange habit of showing up at obscure meets and events.
It's been three days since the last video and there's already a new one? Is this what heaven feels like?
I had a spare 20 minutes before I had to leave for work,
This is so perfect.
That was a 427 cammer under the hood of that cobra!!! Those engines are extremely rare and extremely powerful. Japanese people do American cars better than Americans.
i actually saw one down the road from me some dude has it in a old truck bad ass
And that is f---ing sad.
Glad I'm not the only one to notice the cammer!
was just about to comment about it, thats incredible
You should get out more if you think Americans dont have nice/rare classic cars.
7:29 ol´reliable Black Emperor Sticker :D
ummmmmmmmmmmmm
@Sam Sonite if I remember correctly, it means good fortune in hindu.
@Sam Sonite yeah and btw us Finns used it in our fighter planes, between Finland's independance and early WW2 until it was banned.
So good to see
15:01 never thought I'd be exicted to see a Fiat Multipla
AC Cobra replica with a 427 SOHC Cammer engine.. be still my heart.
That's one mean machine, since the 427 SOHC was conservatively estimated at 700+ bhp.
I just love these car show walkabouts. Back when I discovered your channel I watched them all back to back. Great to see a new one!
It really is something, isn't it?
Hey Alexi, that Esprit Turbo at 14:20, besides the AE86 tail lights, it also has Citroen CX side mirrors. Which were also used by Mclaren in their early development F1's.
7:07 damn that's a *spicy* Black Emperor sticker.
8:08 NO NORIYARO!! That's Seibu Keisatsu, not Abunai Deka!! Abunai had the Nissan Leopard/ Infiniti J30.
Well there's today's mistake.
why so agressive lol
Nissan Leopard was the Infiniti M30
@@vallevaan More like a surprised reaction than aggressive.
@Matt M Two letters off, meh.
@@noriyaro The second car with the gumball light even had the show logo on the dash. Can't be right all the time, sorry if my comment looked aggressive, it was more surprised.
2:09 looks like fun sized 280Zs
I was going to comment that 🤣🤣
@@CarlosGarcia-ze6rt How about the funs sized 2000GTs? 10:30
"Wait until the video ended to watch the Black Gold"
> Immediately tabs out to watch the video, then tabs back in.
How was it?
@@noriyaro I'm not sure what else I expected. But now i'll be singing that in my head all day now.
12:04 Always thrilled to see my beloved z31 300zx in such a pristine and rare trim. I dropped everything as soon as I saw the thumbnail : ) Thank you for sharing!
Also the attention to detail on those Shelbys....my goodness
"bag of skittles"... Fell off my chair laughing 🤣🤣🤣👍
9:05 "Do'nt touch!" someone almost nailed it.
14:09 damn i love MR2
That Simpson episode with the tall guy in the small car "Are you making fun of my automobile"
That’s all could afford
Ha ha
We need "Alexi sitting in small cars" compilation
@3:14 THEY"RE PERFORMING CHUCK BERRY"S SONG!
GO JOHNNY GO!!!
Matt K ahhhhh yes the first time hearing it in Back to the Future
im JDM car fan i found ur channel like 5/6 years ago and i still in love with ur channel, keep like this
.You envy me with the cars you see and test there
Dude i love these types of videos from you! Your Japanese car culture knowledge is amazing.
Love it every time you're filming when everyone's getting ready go home from these meets, hearing all the illegally tuned engines (everywhere else in the world) sputter to life and go brapbrapbrap on cold idles.
Thx again for yet another super sweet video!
Such a wonderful atmosphere. Calm. That's what a somewhat clean western culture looks/looked like. Absolutely wonderful.
The guy at 5:19 nailed it 100%, I've seen four or five like that in rural Oregon just in the last month
You know I've been into cars for years, and even owned and modified a few JDM ones and I still see some of these Japanese models for the first time!
5:40 the green mitsubishi galant is so frikking gorgeous. hade a datsun 100a as my first car. love the old JDM cars
That’s a 50th Anniversary Edition Z31 300zx. I got an 86 but man, that car looks so fucking perfect. 💯💙
I have an '86 300ZX base.
Such a cool collection of cars! Thanks for rocking our Team Rowdy shirt!! So cool to see it out and about at events over there.
Man those old Mitsubishi's bring back memories. My dad was actually hired as a teenager during the first round of dealership openings in America in the very late 70's. All my baby/child pictures from the early 80's have old Mitsu's like that in the background. None are really left here in the states anymore. The only old ones people kept going are Starions of which I had one and regret selling it every day of my life.
Also, I once worked for Bridgestone/Firestone and always found it amazing that in America Mr Firestone started to manufacture tires then 30 years later in Japan Mr Stonebridge (Bridgestone) did as well. Fast forward 50+ years, a world War and hundreds of different tire companies appearing the two companies merged to become the biggest tire company ever. The names sound like they were always integrated (most people think they were) but that's just a wild coincidence.
*Alexi shows anything in Japan*
Me: AAHHHHHHHHHHH!!
That little Mazda carol is like a squished Ford Anglia!
Noriyaro bringing that og jdm content back to youtube 👌🏾
one of my favorite videos of yours, i always come back to it
First time ive seem my fav car in a mainstream thumbnail and it makes me so happy. (Z31 if hes changed it)
Same. Love the Z31
at 16:06 the guy uses the wrong turn signal because he's not used to driving a left hand drive the same way we mess up when driving rhd cars
Let's get some snow drifting in the winter! We wanna see more beer can snow adventures.
Thank you for filming that AW11, they don't get the love they deserve
I've put a 4A-GZE in my '98 Toyota Avensis. Amazing engine for its age.
Amazing video I love getting to see so many cars i'm not familiar with.
Keep the great content coming!
I love learning about those old Japanese cars ! They are often so unusual and have a certain character to them. Thank you Alexi !!!
i just love the look of those boxy old japanese cars like laurels and cedrics
Best era ever!
I love seeing older people checking it out too!
I’m in love with my z31
I just did the timing service and have been dailying it and I’m in love
the digital dash and interior is a amazing place to be and it’s a lot of fun
Needs coils and turbo ASAP
Sadly underrated and forgotten. I have an '86 Z31!
Brandon Andrews hell yeah I’m about to do a build on it “ finish it lol “after I’m done with the s13 on my channel
85 z31 with a very limited production rear wing and all options except leather
M&R Tuning Thats sick! I'm planning to do all of my engine stuff within the next month or so (a full rebuild with the addition of a HX35 And nistune)
DarkVoltageBCA hell yeah I’m na atm
I have a spare block and trans to rebuild , and a fresh terbski
I’m also making a custom turbo relocation pipe and I’m thinking about selling them to all the na Z owner who don’t wanna swap everything over from a turbo
Also wared you get your ecu?
Fun fact: The 84 300zx 50th anniversary was only a US model. Japan oddly enough didn't receive it.
Quite a rare car.
All of this greatness, and I'm still excited to see a March K11 sat in the car park at 14:09 😂
Used to hangout here almost everyday when I was younger! Man I miss it
Never knew the esprit had 86 tails, you learn something new everyday. also that c35 on watts is epic
15:12 we have SO many of these in South Africa and they are very over looked. I love the boxy shape of this Nissan Sentra.
Good to see another South African in the comments 🤣
12:40 that skyline looks so good
I love your videos where you just walk around a car show and show us cool stuff, explaining their specs and history.
The Mitsubishi "MCA Jet" (5:49) was a tiny inlet valve in the cylinder head that was operated by the same tappet that operated the main inlet valve. The idea was that the velocity of the charge coming through that valve-port would create turbulence in the combustion chamber, hence giving a better air/fuel mix for better combustion.
Trinidad & Tobago. West Indies.
910 Datsun bluebird wagon, b12 sunny,260&280 cedics oh man nice to see them still in japan streets
Those American cars were done with perfection. That black cuda 16:03 is so cool.
Good to see all nations car scenes are alive and well in Japan , i'm from the UK and good friends with some Lotus guys and even they mention how the Europa is strangely popular in Japan for some reason! Don't see many of them back here.
Great Video!
That band in the background reminds me so much of the first Kill Bill movie, Japan is a fantastic place for sure !
The 50th anniversary Z is goals for how I want mine to end up looking like, Pristine as all hell, though not silver! Ill keep the original brown for mine, I think.
5:23 that’s one of the most American trucks I’ve ever seen and I live in the south
At 5:45 , the Mitsubishi Celeste was also sold in Australia as the Chrysler Lancer Hatchback
Hearing Elvis' music performed by japanese musicians is really cool. Thank you again Alexi
I am super stoked to see all the awesome cars that are in Japan. R31 are one of my favorites and I love all the kei coupes.
We have a lot of Mitsubishi Celestes in the Philippines NoriYaro. Back in the 70s, it’s one of the most famous drag racing cars in the Philippines
Thank you for taking the time on each car and bring this to us
My friends dad was the local Nissan dealer here, remember when he had the 50th anniversary Z like the one at 12:03 came out... how i lusted after that car ! We had never driven a turbo anything back then.
Wow so many amazing cars. Many of them I'm seeing for the first time. Looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work.
not 2 days ago I was trying to recall from my memory what was in japanese Bridgestone, and kept forgeting to check. Thanks noriyaro for reminding.
8:50 : "Its like early 1980 personified in a car" Have you seen a mint Celica Supra A60? Thats early 1980s personified. I know its not that exiting as a sports car, but im surprised its so overlooked with its aesthetics.Would love to own one one day.
Oh I dig that yellow Suzuki servo. They look cool af. Great content man
Great video👍 lived in Nagoya from 1981 to 1984, when I graduated high school. It seems like such a small, insignificant amount of time, just under four full years; but it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. While I was much more into motorcycles at the time (cars now), this video is a great nostalgic trip👍😂
0:38 The Camaro was also in the Tokyo Sunday cruise in a Hakosuka -video.
i really respect the props they put in for the american cars to set the mood it's such a nice touch
Cobra 427's number plate was "4 27".
Don't care if it's real at this point, love it anyway.
Killin' it with the vids lately. Keep it up!
Great video. Btw the 2 door hakosuka also had the low fender line like the 4 door, but most people cut it away to put flares on.
That pistachio green '57 Bel-Air dropped on Supremes and white lines is fantastic.
My aunt used to own a Suzuki Servo. They were badged as SC100GX. Her car had a black vinyl roof with a glass aftermarket sunroof. Very rare car in Europe, even back then.
5:20 this car reminded me of a truck from the "Wolf Creek" movie
Mitsubishi Celeste is the same platform as Plymouth Arrow here in the U.S.
I cant get over your car knowledge Alexi.
Is no one gonna mention the absolute legend at 1:05 standing in front of that red Bel Air, rocking the American flag pattern shorts and the "Pen Is" shirt?
Very nice to see someone preserving an S130 (280ZX) especially a Turbo model! Most people think of the 280ZX as not a real Z but love to swap the L28ET into older models.
They keep the L series engine but get more power, best of both worlds. They're very desirable engines!
11:26 dad used to own one of those! big ol cedric station wagon, beautiful car.
When noriyaro uploads, it’s automatically a good week!
Thank you so much for this content! So many vehicles I have never seen before. Super rad!
@0:50 my dad had a (USDM) Celica like that back in the '80s/'90s. Such pretty cars.
Thanks for the video Nori!
Awesome video, Alexi, thanks for posting! It's so weird seeing old American trucks. I live in Texas and I just can't imagine anyone other than an old white farmer driving one 😂
I swear i have seen the Mitsubishi Celeste here in Australia badged as a Chrysler Lancer. Loved the old kei cars b.t.w.
wow, the streets of Japan must have been an incredible thing to see in the early 70's
The esprite is an amazing car to see in person. Video never does justice.
A minute or so in, and all smiles. Actually I'm really glad some folks in Japan love our car culture stuff as much as we love theirs. Though I do think some of those big old Mopars look a lot more out of place there than do cooler JDM versions of cars we had all along do here. :)
That bright blue interior at 10:28 is nuts. There is no way that came factory right?
That Celeste was sold as a Chrysler Lancer in Australia. My old man bought one new in about 1980. It gave me such a hard on I drew a picture of it in my year 7 art class.
15:28 those fourth gen Minicas are dope!
i wish youd give the american cars more screen time alexi, i know you dont know much about them but i love seeing how the japanese do them
I was surprised at the cuda near the end there, my god it's an absolute machine !!
i love these classic car show videos
I have an 84 300zx, its pretty cool
That grey coloured Mazda Carol is so damn cool! Cheers Alexi!
