    Thanks, you just saved me $45!! I watched your video all the way, went back and did it step by step, pausing and replaying, and FINALLY have put a tube in without pinching it. Thanks for the video.

    Awesome video! THANKS! I finally got my rear tire change with no pinched tube. This really made the tire change SO much quicker and easier. Thanks a million!

    So I got inspired after watching this and bought myself a tyre changer and a few levers. Honestly tha'st 4 hours of my life I won't get back. And some skin on my knuckles. This must be a super soft tyre to pop back on like that, I thought I was going to bend the rim. Certainly scratched it. For the one change a year just head to a shop and stump $30 or so for both tyres. Much easier.

    yeah today i changed my tire, but with the exception of using a strong butter knife and fork. They were bent and busted, but i got the job done. Yeah it's a good idea to invest the right tools and don't be cheap like me. i do find that using three tire irons is the best way to do it. Small bites made it easier to work. following his instruction is good to go you will be a pro in a few tire changes. I use Windex and it's great for lubrication.

    @ScenicZipaloot1 soft terrain tires are a harder compound than hard terrain tires. hard terrains are generally soft because the knobs grip hard surfaces better if they flex. thats why soft terrain tires are so slippery on hard pack stuff

    He does this for a living so it's going to look a lot easier when he does it. It's not rocket science, it's changing a tire.

    I thought there was a mark on the tire that showed the heavy side (for balancing)?
    Just wondering what to line that mark up with in order to avoid shaking at high speed??

    Geese.... nothing like saving the finish on the rims.. looking at this i would love to see the pro bikes up close to see the mess the rims are in. He changes the tire good, but hacking the rim to shit.. guess you dont care when you have a million extra rims in the truck... any one watching this vid and has a good set of excels , i would think twice before doing it same as these dunlop guys. i have black rim and changed maybe 30 tires on them and still does not have a scratch even on the edge of the rim.. 30 tires the exact same way as he is doing this, my black rims would be a bright silver after his is done,. careless i think.

      I think it was actually just the white baby powder...I thought it was scratched when I first saw it.

    • @hreindustries
      @hreindustries 7 років тому

      Jordan01 just be gentle and maybe wrap them in tape. Even with out tape going slow will leave very minimal to no scratches and if it does most are on the top so you cant see them

    Is the rim lock really necessary? I fail to see how it does anything. I have a big lump in my tire and I feel it constantly riding down the road. Couldn’t I just take it off

    i've seen a few of these rear tyre change vids.. all of them have very detailed info., UNTIL it comes to putting the valve stem through, which is skipped!!???, it's annoying bcoz I think that is the hardest part of a tyre change, it always leaves your fingers feeling like they've been run over by a steam roller.. and sometimes it seems almost impossible
