Those first 4 links you showed are all paid ads on Google. This, is no small part of the reason why I use an adblocker, because ads are too often a carrier of malware.
Recommend the first thing you do on a new PC before downloading drivers or apps is to install UBlock origin on your browser so you do not receive these ADs
thats what happens if you dont let google filter out sus websites XD i cant even see those fake websites when searching for MSI AB and i never even changed the settings for my browser XD
I avoid anything that shows ad next to it for this very reason or if I happen to have my usb drive around that has every benching software app cpu tools or GPU tools I'll use that then update via in app if it asks. Though that isn't foolproof it's still like oh damn did I install this on a client's system when finishing up the build?
Tf you would notice it if someone was crypto mining from your PC buddy. 😂 Everything would be slow af and your CPU would be stressed to the point it reaches critical temperatures, same for your GPU. It’s impossible to get a crypto trojan and not notice it at least a couple days in depending on how often you use your PC.
I used edge to download it (normaly use opera gx) and it gave me the real link because it uses bing 😭 - btw i got an rtx 4070ti and a ryzen 7 7800x3D / would suck if i got hacked
yeah but idk if I have the fake one because I dont even remember where I downloaded it from, because it was 2 years ago, and knowing me, I definitely download the fake one
@@LUX0RIOUSS if you want to be safe you could take pics or screenshots of all your settings and do a fresh install and just redo the settings according to your pics

My MSI afterburner is about 3 years old i think I'm fine (hopefully)
What if no internet connection 😅
I got cryptominer from somewhere, quarantined it using malwarebytes, but I fear malwarebytes itself might be a virus.
Lmao
If you have already installed malware, just uninstalling MSI AB wont solve it.
Oh no
What should I do tho to get it off?
