Number 21:4 Those who looked at the bronze snake on the pole lived... The Isrealites lived because of the words of God However ,the foolish people began to worship the bronze snake.. 2king 18:3_4.. The Isrealites had been burning incense to the bronze snake untill the time of Hezekiah... John 3:14... " Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert ,so the Son of Man must be lifted up...". , Indicates Jesus ' death on the cross.. As the ancient Isrealites worshipped the visible bronze snake ,despising God's words ,so now many people worship the cross itself ,despising Jesus ' blood which promised through the Passover bread and wine.... Cross reverence is idolatry ,Therefore ,whoever errects or worships the cross will receive the eternal punishment of hell.... 🙏. AMEN
