@kicknowledgesmith8608 Well, I am curious about the Marvel change after Deadpool and Wolverine. Blade has no legs to stand on at the moment, but who is really waiting for that movie. I think Fantastic Four is more important because it needs to be successful.
@@malmazing24 The point is Marvel fans are in no position to hate on Sony. Marvel lost millions from putting out mid projects over the past few years. Dead pool is being relied on to restore hype. It would have made 2 billion in 2018 when general audiences still cared. Marvel delayed Blade, re shot Cap 4 which most people don't care about and re shot Daredevil a character many love but are now nervous about because of crap like Echo.Disney destroyed Marvel and Star Wars by focusing mostly everything on females. Sony got most of the profits from NWH and Spiderverse movies are better than mostly everything in phase 4 and 5.

They know the movie is bad so they're releasing it on the biggest moviegoing day of the year, in the hope that it boost the opening weekend numbers. January is the slowest time for theaters so it'll be buried with a bunch of other movies that studios don't believe in.

Nah, it'll do better than Mufasa. Disney's reputation is practically nonexistent right now, especially after last year's disasters, and people are starting to open their eyes to how shitty the remakes are. Not to mention, Mufasa doesn't have the name recognition the Lion King remake did as James Earl Jones isn't going to be in it, whereas Sonic 3 has Keanu Reeves, Idris Elba, Jim Carrey and James Marsden.

Omg just release the damn movie already. It was already supposed to come out all the way back in January of 2023. Now it’s delayed by 2 years at this point. No matter when it comes out at this point it’s just gonna flop. Having it close to Deadpool 3 was honestly ideal and i honestly think it might’ve broken even at that spot. Now they’re doomed and have dug their own grave at this point

Makes me wonder how much longer until Marvel gets the full rights.
Once Sony stops making these films long enough for the rights to naturally revert. That’s the only reason these films are still getting made, so they can hold on to the Spider-Man film rights.
That'll never happen, Sony will keep making these movies to keep.the rights because Spiderman is a cash cow. If Marvel/Disney wants the rights they're gonna have to pay for them. If I was Sony my asking price would be $10 billion.

Sony just sealed their fate with this one. Sonic 3 comes out a week after Kraven. Sonic 3 has a lot more excitement surrounding it. Sure it'll probably do......fine for the week it's released but when Sonic 3 comes out....... Might as well get the coffin prepared for Kraven.

Kraven was always gonna compete against other movies. It would get wiped at the box office by deadpool and the crow reboot.

The Kraven movie shouldn't have even been made in the first place. And thanks to Madame web and Morbius sony made things worse for Kraven. Seeing how bad those two movies are not a lot of people are going to see Kraven in theaters. Sony might panic and decided to make the Kraven movie into PG-13.

Trying to distance Kraven as far away from Madame Web as possible.
As popular as Spider-Man is, general audiences really aren't familiar with characters other than Spider-Man and Venom from the franchise. I think characters with "Spider" in the name, like the Scarlet Spider, Spider-Gwen, or Spider-Woman, would have a greater chance because of the clear connection to Spider-Man, especially if they're not going to include Spider-Man in the films. I keep hoping to hear something on the Silk TV show on Amazon. That's the only non-Spider-Man Spider-Verse project I'm looking forward to really. I think maybe including Spider-Verse in the title might help a little, like Spider-Verse: Silk or Spider-Verse: Kraven the Hunter. They really just need to include some version of Spider-Man in these projects, even if it's a small role.
This movie is DOA. There's no hope for this one.

Rated R movies never do well on Christmas. I got a feeling they'll change Kraven to PG13 to maximize the opening weekend but it'll still be a flop.

my opinion villain movies like this one needs a high caliber hereo in it and than after they are introduced into the movie world u can do a back story of how they became to be a villian...case in point......Thanos, Ultron, Hella, all supporting cast villains who we now know and if they were to do a show or movie about them it would be interesting....just my thoughts

To not have this out in time for the Spider-Man 2 game that has Kraven as one of the main villians is business malpractice.
