Very good news about Kaveri engine.
Integrating Kaveri to Tejas was/is the whole point of the program, saying the same thing over and over again for almost three decades now is pointless without significant changes in political will and tons of actual resources directed towards the program, nothing will really come out of this.
I honestly think Tejas is a done deal it will be powered by US engines for practically its entire life.
Do you honestly think India can afford and want to run two separate jet engine programs at the same time(one is JV Engine AMCA and Kaveri for Tejas)?
RE:-CAUVERY AERO ENGINE, THE TURBO WHEELS BECOME BLIND PLATES AT THE HIGHER SPEED(RPM). THIS BECAUSE OF THE GAPS BETWEEN THE BLADES OF THE TURBO WHEEL IS VERY NARROW. SO AT A VERY HIGH RPM, THE TURBO WHEEL BECOMES AN IMPEDING PLATE, DUE TO PERSISTENCE OF VISION. HENCE THE THRUST THAT IS CREATED IN BETWEEN THE FIRST TURBO WHEEL AND THE SECOND TURBO WHEEL IS NOT TRANSFERRED TO THE NEXT STAGE. THIS RESULTS IN ACCUMULATION OF BURNT FUEL, NOT BEING DRIVEN OUT, AND THE INNER TEMPERATURE OF THE ENGINE, BETWEEN THE TURBO WHEELS, GETS TRAPPED. HENCE, DESPITE HIGH INNER ENGINE TEMPERATURE, THE FINAL THRUST(AT AFTER THE SECOND IGNITION) IS ABSENT.
SOLUTION:- JUST REMOVE, ONE OF THE TURBO WHEEL FROM THE "INBETWEEN" THE TWO IGNITION POINTS AND CHECK FOR THE THRUST AT THE EXHAUST. A POSITIVE, IMPROVED THRUST IS INEVITABLE. THANK YOU FOR THE SPACE.

Sir pls answer my question I am too confused . In a recent update Israel is acquiring 25 F-35 fighters for 3 Billion dollars . And India acquiring 31 MQ-9B drones for like 4 billion dollars ? Is that drone really worth that much money in which we can have a squadron of world's most advanced fighter jet . Specially after so many incidents of it's shot down from cheap Houthis defence.
Deal was financed by US military aid to Israel.
First our defence force use 2 drones in rent for 1 yr. Post evaluation they r moving to buy the machine.

India should reconsider FA-18 super hornet, price and timeline of delivery of rafales aren't favourable. Hornets could fit better on Vikrant's lift too due to foldable wings. Another type of aircraft isn't favourable in the forces but we should reconsider.

The way the situation is now only deficit financing ( money printing ) will help achieve weapons modernisation. Cos alliance partners have already made huge budget demands. Any more taxation and our economy will rank and ppl will revolt. So the only way to fund this is money printing cos defence modernisation can’t be delayed anymore. Budgeting issues shouldn’t be cited anymore as it’s now a necessity and not an option to rapidly modernise our armed forces.
Never mind -- actually the Indian scientists are unable to make an Engine on its own.

Indian drdo should developed a mine vehicle like remotely accessed vehicle with multiple barrel missile system, the multiple missile placed in the barrel should be long endurance missile, the vehicle can be accessed remotely in border areas in India and can deeply strike the enemy territory by accessing the remote vehicle with multiple barrel system

Should they call you personally and show or will an email do? Multiple Kaveri engine cores were manufactured by Godrej aerospace. Kaveri has been developed with just 500 million dollars whereas West usually spends 20 billion per engine and China has so far spend 50 billion on their program.
@@Manas-f5i first thing m not criticising the brains behind the project but my problem is with the babus who don't know even abc of these projects and they get to decide the amount of funds and everything. If u know about this project then India and China both went with their engines for testing to Russia almost at the same tym and failed in India we had the babus who stalled the project and criticised it as a waste of money meanwhile China increased the budget by many folds and rest we all know how both progressed

It's very hard to leave the illusion of Kaveri Engine. It's very puzzling whether this project is alive or dead , at times it's dawned on after a while it's died away .
If it's so heart breaking then either to go for a collaboration or reverse engineering the Russian one by our scientists.
