Thank you!! Finally a professional saying to wash once a week to every other !!! The deep conditioning is a must! My locs matured so fast doing this and my hair has thrived with no buildup. I’ve got traditional locs and these tips are excellent for us too❤

Thank you for the tips!! I love wearing hats in the winter but they don’t have that satin lining. So I’ll be adding that to them. ❤

You can do that as long as you’re really rinsing well. You can deep condition with diluted conditioner and put a shower cap and let it steam for 10 to 15.

Maintnance for starter locs should not include deep conditioner nor oils. Both soften the hair which will lead to unraveling, thats why you need to wait a bit. Like you, I experienced dry & flaky scalp in the beginning, but it got better with time.

Hi Pauline I would like to get a lock tool by like what you are doing

Hi Pauline. A few of my locs have been breaking towards the middle of the loc due to thinning. I’ve been locd just about fours years this upcoming January. However, I colored my hair in November. So far I’ve had three locs break off in the middle of towards the end. They were thin. It wasn’t the entire loc though. Any suggestions?

@jamikapope2728 you definitely have to moisturize more often and deep condition your locs. I would recommend the sea moss fusion shampoo and conditioner and the protein leave in spray to strengthen your locs (the 3.4.5 protector). Avoid putting tight ponytails so it doesn't weaken the loc and cause breakage. The products I mentioned can be found on my website www.entoibeauty.com Hope this helps

How do you fix ends that have come loose? I have been loc’d for 4 years but have damage from bleaching my locs. Some have broken and the ends are loose.

I got a dandruff problem so what can I use for my locs

I used to have the same issue. Drinking a lot of water, washing my hair regularly, and using peppermint oil on my scalp completely removed that issue. And I had severe dandruff.

    Hiii
Please I’ve only had my locs in for 4 months.
How do I keep my hair moisturized in this weather without interrupting the loc process?
Because washing my hair with just shampoo in this weather makes it extremely dry and I’m scared of moisturizing because of the “no moisture for the first 6 months” rule🥲

Commenting so I can see the answer too. I'm a month in and got my first retwist today.

Don't understand the no moisture rule. I have been deep conditioning and moisturising from the very beginning and my locs are thriving 😊

      @@growqueen wow!
What starter method did you use?
Because all the research I did before installing my locs, they all said to just be shampooing for the first 6 months. Some even went as far as saying not to use hair oils sef.
