Australia has such a hard time when it comes to makeup, that I feel genuinely happy for you, Aussies :) Spaniards, believe it or not have an even harder time importing beauty products (makeup, perfume, cosmetics, etc.) from outside the EU due to our ridiculously strict customs law. So I completely understand you and share your excitement. I can only hope that Merit gets a warehouse in the EU and they can ship here too. I had a friend bring me Midcentury and the 1990 lipstick from the US and I can't wait to try more stuff!

I tried Merit after watching so many of your videos over the years. The lipsticks are definitely my favorite- I have three signature satins and one matte. Millennial, Ginger, Slip, and Court. They are divine. Also love the minimalist and number #1 brush. Will try flush balm next. 🫶🏽

I was soooo sad when you used to review Merit products because we couldn't get them here and I did do a fair bit of complaining about it. So very happy that I can now buy it! I would like the bronzer, blush, eyeshadow and lipstick and probably the lip oil as that was a product that I kept seeing the US influencers raving about!

The aesthetics of this brand, their seemingly ideal textures and colors - it is so close to me - a lover of light, weightless makeup in "natural" shades! I live in the US and of course I have the opportunity to touch all this in a physical store. After this video, I’ll finally place my order! It’ll be blush, satin lipsticks, eyeshadows for sure (the shades are simply gorgeous!) and brushes. I love merit products! So sad they don’t make any olive tones in their complexion stick. All their warm tones are way too yellow. I am light olive and would love to see a light , medium, and darker olive shades. And also some lighter colored eye shadows.

Merit is the first brand from which I bought lipsticks, thanks to your reviews and swatches! I have one satin and one matte and the formulas are so comfortable and beautiful. Their only fault is that because the bullets are so soft, they shift around during application. Curious if they'll ever consider packaging similar to that of Generation G's...

Just got all of their face products and LOVE the way they apply and look, however, after a couple of hours all color is GONE from the bronzer and blush. Any recs on how to make it last? I have tried powdering and setting sprays and neither of those helped. I want to love them, but I can't at this point!! TY for any suggestions.
I like to embrace the way creamy makeup moves with you so I don't have any tricks for longevity unfortunately Deann! I very rarely reach for powder or setting spray, only on special occasions like a wedding where I *really* want my makeup to last. Dewy finishes can't stick around as long as powders (and if you have dry skin like I do, my face eats blush in particular 😅) but I almost think it looks better as it settles in! I'll sometimes just quickly touch up my complexion stick or blush later in the day to freshen up my face before another meeting or dinner etc. I do have an old video on my channel on Matte Cream Blush formulas that tend to last a little longer in case that's helpful! x

So excited 😍💄 I'm prone to dry lips so I always prep my lips with balm before matte formulas, but this is truly one of the most comfy matte formulas I've ever tried - not 'hydrating' specifically, but they don't feel drying to me at all. So light, it almost feels like you have nothing on! x

All great formulas but it's all about what's going to work well in your routine x
Love merit formulas! I've tried their cream blush and highlighter so far. The blush sadly wasn't my favorite as it disappears into my skin but worked well for my friend, but the highlighter in cava is one of my holy grails. Curious to try a lipstick from them next 👀 and their no 1 brush as a multitasker. I read some reviews how the bristles disintegrate out after about a year, would you say that's been your experience too?

It's been put through its paces rolling around in my everyday makeup bag for 3 years but has held up perfectly. I just wash it gently with a Blendercleanser Solid sometimes 🤍 x

Flower beauty is phasing out of AUS/NZ it seems :( and there’s a lightweight lipstick (Perfect Pout in Blossom) that I’ve been looking for a dupe for. Baby looks like it could be a winner! I am very interested in the lipsticks, they have interested me for ages but obviously I’ve never been able to get my hands on them. Signature Lip: Baby and 1990 are perfection. Solo Shadow: Studio and Midcentury both work great as a base under a glitter topper. I miss my Minimalist stick but I need to get shade matched because they expanded the shades. Brow 1980: Blonde *was* the perfect shade and actually got me more interested in wearing makeup because I finally found something that was the right color...then they "took the gray" out in the reformulation and ruined it imo. I'm still looking for a replacement product that is the same color/does the same thing and I won't repeat how much money I've thrown in the garbage since they reformulated/ruined it 😭

I love this brand. Rarely misses. I’m super pale and cool and Studio just pulls orange on me and Social goes on like a bad bruise. Wishing for a pale cool beige to just do a skin tone neutral for pale people.
I almost like the bruise-like quality of Social 😂 It creates a very natural shadow (as in, the look of a physical shadow and depth) on the eyes if you just use a very light layer! But I'd love to see lighter shades and rosy tones in future too x

I bought a LV bag luxrul years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. The store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of good quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I found zero differences
I love merit products! So sad they don’t make any olive tones in their complexion stick. All their warm tones are way too yellow. I am light olive and would love to see a light , medium, and darker olive shades. And also some lighter colored eye shadows.
They just launched 10 new Minimalist shades a couple of weeks ago! Have you had a look in case any of those might be a better fit? 🤞 x

I personally think Space NK might be their most likely partner in the UK one day if they decide to work with a retailer, but given their partnership with Sephora in the US and Canada, it could be Sephora UK instead. Merit is the first brand from which I bought lipsticks, thanks to your reviews and swatches! I have one satin and one matte and the formulas are so comfortable and beautiful. Their only fault is that because the bullets are so soft, they shift around during application. Curious if they'll ever consider packaging similar to that of Generation G's...

Just got all of their face products and LOVE the way they apply and look, however, after a couple of hours all color is GONE from the bronzer and blush. Any recs on how to make it last? I have tried powdering and setting sprays and neither of those helped. I want to love them, but I can't at this point!! TY for any suggestions.
I like to embrace the way creamy makeup moves with you so I don't have any tricks for longevity unfortunately Deann! I very rarely reach for powder or setting spray, only on special occasions like a wedding where I *really* want my makeup to last. Dewy finishes can't stick around as long as powders (and if you have dry skin like I do, my face eats blush in particular 😅) but I almost think it looks better as it settles in! I'll sometimes just quickly touch up my complexion stick or blush later in the day to freshen up my face before another meeting or dinner etc. I do have an old video on my channel on Matte Cream Blush formulas that tend to last a little longer in case that's helpful! x

So excited 😍💄 I'm prone to dry lips so I always prep my lips with balm before matte formulas, but this is truly one of the most comfy matte formulas I've ever tried - not 'hydrating' specifically, but they don't feel drying to me at all. So light, it almost feels like you have nothing on! x

All great formulas but it's all about what's going to work well in your routine x
Love merit formulas! I've tried their cream blush and highlighter so far. The blush sadly wasn't my favorite as it disappears into my skin but worked well for my friend, but the highlighter in cava is one of my holy grails. Curious to try a lipstick from them next 👀 and their no 1 brush as a multitasker. I read some reviews how the bristles disintegrate out after about a year, would you say that's been your experience too?
Yay Haena, glad Cava is a favourite for you! Ooh no, I've had my brush since 2021 and haven't noticed a single hair out of place! It's been put through its paces rolling around in my everyday makeup bag for 3 years but has held up perfectly. I just wash it gently with a Blendercleanser Solid sometimes 🤍 x

Flower beauty is phasing out of AUS/NZ it seems :( and there’s a lightweight lipstick (Perfect Pout in Blossom) that I’ve been looking for a dupe for. Baby looks like it could be a winner! I am very interested in the lipsticks, they have interested me for ages but obviously I’ve never been able to get my hands on them. I will wait for when I have saved up a bit but how exciting to have these available in Aus :)

Signature Lip: Baby and 1990 are perfection.
Solo Shadow: Studio and Midcentury both work great as a base under a glitter topper.
I miss my Minimalist stick but I need to get shade matched because they expanded the shades.
Brow 1980: Blonde *was* the perfect shade and actually got me more interested in wearing makeup because I finally found something that was the right color...then they "took the gray" out in the reformulation and ruined it imo. I'm still looking for a replacement product that is the same color/does the same thing and I won't repeat how much money I've thrown in the garbage since they reformulated/ruined it 😭

I love this brand. Rarely misses. I’m super pale and cool and Studio just pulls orange on me and Social goes on like a bad bruise. Wishing for a pale cool beige to just do a skin tone neutral for pale people.
I almost like the bruise-like quality of Social 😂 It creates a very natural shadow (as in, the look of a physical shadow and depth) on the eyes if you just use a very light layer! But I'd love to see lighter shades and rosy tones in future too x
