- An Australian man's voice (#AussieASMRMan) is quietly whispering and chewing gum as he reads the "Little Book of Big Hearted Gifts". This book is organised by Baptist World Aid Australia and raises funds to help people and families in extreme poverty in third world countries. These funds give people farm animals, hygiene, safe spaces etc. and also skills that they continue to use well into the future. Autonomous sensory meridian response (#ASMR). All the discussion and readings are done in a quiet whisper.
*Guys imagine how ASMR has become important in our life. It cures our insomnia, sleepless nights, relieves us from stress, it also distracts us from the pain and hurt that we feel inside, and sometimes it becomes our refuge when we feel lonely, bullied, or mistreated. I find it such a strange thing that there exists poverty. I also find it is a great paradox that a company wants you to buy stuff to improve the conditions of the poor.

@@jimonychristmas6238 Poverty is strange because it is unnecessary. The wealth of western nations and people should be distributed evenly and accordingly. We are all human beings, and we all deserve a decent life. Colonialism has also enabled the gruesome states that many peoples are in, and this should be aknowledged and looked at in a much higher degree by western nations. It is a shame in my opinion that it has come to this. And to top it all off, companies have to be the ones to sell us things in order for people to be able to attend to extremly basic needs. The paradox of capitalism. Now, I'm not a communist, but it is to me blatantly obvious that the world is completely on the wrong.

People have depressions and other physical and mental problems in the west as well, I never said anything against that. My point is that the wealth of the world could very easily have been distributed so that everyone could have their basic needs covered. I saw a figure once which stated that about 5 billion US dollars would solve all hunger problems in the world. 5 BILLION DOLLARS????? Thats not even 0,1 of most western countries BPM. You telling me there's nothing we can do about it is simply something everyone that doesnt want change would say. Try saying something else, like "We can stand together and help each other. People should be treated as such" etc. etc.

As long as countries have unstable governments and civil wars, there is practically nothing we can do to stop that. And yes, we as individuals might be able to help a few families, and that’s great. But not much more than that.
