Lol…about had a panic attack reading the title thinking you just killed it off. Been wanting something like that for awhile but I’m not not good at the software side. Awesome work Rexer! 👍🏻
The software and hardware was bought from a guy who had it “ready to go”. I just had to put it all together since it came in parts, no buttons, trackball, power supply, etc. putting it together was difficult for me. So much that when I took the guts out to do this, I almost forgot how it all went back together. The MB, the video card, the breakout board, the cabinet id , all the harness connections. Worth it in the end though. Thanks for watching.
You all heard it here first Rexer stated that he had his GT on a flush mounted RISER! I love the idea of taping the t molding before installing it…genius move
Very impressive! When you and Ralph do Mods like these I feel you out of my depth. My dad was a mechanic and could make anything. I couldn’t get a paper airplane to fly. That is truly the way to play Golden Tie! Although you must admit that 1up makes a much better Cab to put your hand through a cheap 19 inch monitor and possibly be scarred for life. So I guess there’s a market for them 🤷
@@therexershow I was thinking of the game Golden tie where you have to dress up to play LOL. I Love auto correct, but Golden Tee is pretty similar to Golden tie🙄
Hey rexer. I love the video . Thanks for posting. I am a newb to the scene but am mechanically inclined. I’d like to know if you think I can achieve this build with an arcade 1up golden tee cab? Would I be able to build like this and use the stock tech for a larger tv screen for the visuals?
Honestly I’m surprised nobody has done this with 1ups yet. I think the only issues you would have is getting an adapter to run from their pcb to a regular tv. They are out there but you must get the right one. The second issue is they use cheap 1/2 inch particle board so it may chip all over and destroy the graphics. You’ll also need to cover up the opening with a wood piece , but if you’re handy , you can do it. The 1up is pretty cheap and it’s annoying not being able to swing your hand through. Good luck !!
Thanks for the reply. I anticipated your response on the cheapness of the cab but am glad to hear it’s doable in the right set of hands! If you have a link or site to send me in the right direction of a screen adaptor I would be much obliged . The tech part is where I would fall short. I’ve been searching how to add a Bowling feature but it seems the SS manufacturer has made it difficult to achieve that aspect from what I’ve seen .
@@jeeptommy9506 do you Facebook ? There is an arcade 1up official Facebook page where they should be able To help. Each monitor type uses a different adapter so I’m not sure which one. Also, there is an old video by ETA prime on UA-cam that shows the adapter.

Amazinng video.. I always appreciate a good PSA rexer... you are saving broken hands everywhere!
I don’t want to get sued for no disclaimer!!
Rexer, we need more videos like this with authentic games.
I’d make them all day if I had the time. I need to start my centipede restore. Thats my second project in line but prob my next restore video.
@@therexershow Love Centipede. That would be an awesome series!
Custom carpentry, for the win. Nice touch having the real golf clubs in the background while slicing up the Golden Tee cab!
Haha. Yeah. I wish I got out to play more !! Work and kids leaves no time for any of the fun stuff. Lol.
Great work Rexer!😃
Thanks polo!!
Nice Job Rexer!
Thanks Allen!
pedestal cab is absolutely the way to go on these games. turned out great Rexer. always love your mod videos!
Thanks Paul! My next projects are all repro Nintendo’s and a real Centipede restore. Not sure when I’ll get to them.
@@therexershow can't wait for those. love all things classic Nintendo!
That was interesting to watch , great job!
Thanks. I cut a lot of minor things I had to do to put it all back together but I didn’t want a long video.
Cool mod! You did a good job.
Thanks Blitz. Appreciate the comment.
Duuuuude! Well done! Looks awesome.
Thanks Rudy !
Excellent work as always 👏. That thing looks sick dude. I need to send you a Cards hat... they're going all the way this year 😉
Tigers winning it all!!

I have a couple on risers , even my MK. They are all flush mounted though. Can barely tell it’s on a riser.

Lmao. 1up can market their game as “more challenging than the real GT”. A challenge not to bust your hand as well as ever make an eagle on a par 5.

Nice mod, therexershow! Looks 👍
Thanks D Love!!
Better than pressed cardboard from 1down. Excellent job! Build your own is always the way to go.
Thanks quantum. You know what they say , if you want it done right, then do it yourself.
you almost landed right in the sand trap lol.. Looks great bro, or should i call u Kongs 😁.
Lol. Kong couldn’t mod this , it’s not a 1up. Lol. Jk Kong. Too much power on that power shot. I have to curtail it back a little on the strength.
@@therexershow That was like mike Tyson punch u gave your track ball lol.
Sweet man thanks for the tutorial
No problem ! Thanks for watching Ritualdelo.
Great mod! Golden Tee/Buck Hunter always looks best on bigger screens
Agreed! Thanks Azmatic.
That was a really cool mod.👍
Thank you very much.

I do rexer. And thank you for the intel . I will circle back at a later date if a can secure all the components and make it a reality 🖖
Awesome job!
Thanks BA
I need to see how you got power putt on there , after a year ive finally got my SSB bowling working good with a nice tube monitor in there.
uhhhhhh, you'll have to email me at therexershow@gmail.com I also have Target Toss on it too. All running Great!
Very Cool
Thanks Cory!
This was an expensive cab that he wouldnt reveal the price. It does deserve a bigger screen. Any shooter or sport game deserve a big screen.
I probably spent $1800 on the whole thing. I built it myself and sourced the components in the aftermarket.
I WANT THAT GODDAMB MISSLE COMMAND!
The answer isssssss………….no.
@@therexershow well that sicks lol
Savage. But I like it
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Thanks BRS
cool vid
Thanks Lucci. Next time you guys come it’s game on.
you sell these by chance?
No. I can’t even get the hardware anymore. It’s just not available and build the cab itself takes way too long . Sorry. Thanks for watching though.
