- If you're talking about dark rides, the name Bill Tracy definitely comes to mind. Not many are left, but if you travel over to Ocean City, Maryland and start walking the boards, you will come across something amazing!! The Trimpers Haunted House!!
Now mind you, the boardwalk is filled with must see and must do places and things, but what we came for was the dark ride!! Climb on in and let's get the chills going!
Thanks for another great video Jim! Very cool and nostalgic dark ride. Back in the day I believe Geneva on the lake or Conneaut had a dark ride. Looks like you are having a great time and it’s nice to see you happy and enjoying life. Safe travels.
@@ghostseeker46 I appreciate the vibes and appreciate you noticing the mood change! Both Geneva and Conneaut had dark rides. The devil den was the one in Conneaut. Can’t remember the name in Geneva, but I rode it a few times when it was still running!
The Haunted House brings back a ton of memories. I grew up in Tulsa going to Bell's Amusement Park and they had a haunted house called Phantasmagoria there with a facade/gags done by Tracy. Super unique and interesting style. Sadly the attraction in Tulsa was damaged in a storm, and then was completely demolished when the park entirely shut down. I'd love to take a trip out to Ocean City and take a ride! I'll put it on the list.

Great video! I grew up going to Wildwood NJ and remember the Hunt’s Pier rides like Whacky Shack, The Golden Nugget and Jungle Land which were Bill Tracy rides. It’s a shame there’s not many left.

You what’s funny I was just there in June going back in August but I’m still watching videos of this ride even though I’ve ridden it 40-50 times.And the store they opened next to the ride is awesome

I grew up going to Rehoboth Beach about 45 minutes away and they have a great dark ride called the Haunted Mansion in Funland on their boardwalk. I filmed it the last time I was there in 2005, I gotta find that footage and upload it!

That haunted house looks incredible but the seat looks pretty tight. Doesn’t look too fat friendly. Is it?
