I really like this truck. very practical with storage and utilities and have FRONT CAMERAS FOR JUST IN CASE!! LOVE IT

Lots of useful practical touches. Seems very well designed for a truck and not just an EV version. I like its “face” too. Quite endearing 🙂
I like the Cybertruck more. The Rivian truck is too small.
@@doubleM1986 I myself prefer the radical look of the Cybertruck as well. But the Rivian is a good choice if one prefers a smaller EV truck.

As a vanlifer who looks forward for an electric vehicle that makes sense for the lifestyle, this one is very close to my ideal. Specifically, the range is better than some other options, but that needs to go hand in hand with public charging infrastructure.

Nice, I would say first thing to get based on amount of gear you haul around but not much hauling of open bed stuff is to get a good bed cover. Not sure if they make them for those yet. I have a Diamondback for my GMC
They used to ship with the automatic one but stopped so looking at a few options!
@@iJustine also if you and @jenna will be going way out there in both rivis, i would look into decent walkie talkies or gmrs radios (gmrs requires $35 license from fcc but no test) so you can talk when out of cell range

Same parking space I picked up my R1T from in November. I had Rivians on both sides and in front of me, sweating bullets getting mine out. I see you have the dual motor version (silver brake calipers instead of yellow that the quad motors have), did you get the performance package or just the dual? I bought the slow poke dual non-performance one and have no complaints about the speed. Love the Ocean Coast interior which I got for mine but I chose Limestone for the exterior.
Good choice, an electric truck that was actually designed by an engineer.

The Rivian looks sooo much nicer then the tesla cyber truck.
That is a highly subjective opinion. It would be ideal to compare the two in terms of range and capability in order to make an informed decision. Looks are a very small factor for most people.
