Cow Creek, that runs through the Refuge & along CR 328, is one of the most beautiful waterways I have ever seen. It's like a mini Frio River! It is crystal clear spring water & has several 3'-4' waterfalls. But, the Refuge is too big. You can't traverse it on ATV, or even horseback, & you have to leave by dark. It's so big you can't possibly get to certain places.
Thanks for sharing! I visited a couple of weeks ago and loved it. It's one of my favorite places in the Austin area, just beautiful and so serene and a great place to decompress and be lost in nature.
Kind of ironic because for he does for the most part. I don’t usually say anything because I now my state but seeing it from the outside I see your point haha!
When I was staying in leander this was my go to. It was great to leave the city and be here in like 15 minutes. It's always peaceful and quiet on the trails. It's not awe inspiring, but it is quite beautiful. The video cut out where that school desk was but that's probably my favorite spot on the loop, great views of lake Travis
Texas has an interesting landscape. This is the state where the green east slowly turns into the desert west.
How come these Canyonlands are beautiful. This makes me want to go visit. Thank you for sharing
Thank you, Secrets of Texas.

When you show map locations, please zoom out to a full map of Texas so we can understand where in Texas it is. I had to google map it. Thanks

I used to do that and then zoom in but the Google Earth videos kept malfunctioning so I've doing it like this lately.

They have drawn hunts out there and I've been applying for years with no luck. It's absolutely beautiful country!
