I love these things. They come in handy all the time. I even used threaded inserts on a guitar I built.
Just a heads up; EZ-Lok customer service is great. When i wasn't sure what inserts would be best to repair an armboard, they send me a sample pack of several types , totally free of charge. Of course, i've placed orders with them since, but they sent me more than I needed, even knowing I only needed a couple for that repair.
So if you run into a situation where you dont known what fits best, reach out to them and they will take care of you.

At my old site we had our parent university attached to the building with a machine shop. I had them install a couple helicoils on a zeiss NC4 head. It was pull the head and send it in for 20k or gamble on a couple hundred dollars. They lasted during my time there.
There are many videos on UA-cam showing the strength of helicoils vs threads in base material. They're almost twice as strong.
I've used loctite red twice and it failed after a few weeks. I have a hard time believing its specs.
It is still subject to temperature and clean surfaces
