"He was on the way up, I was on the way out." Brian London on his last fight with Joe Bugner. R.I.P. Brian.

Brian made a valiant effort in losing to future British Heavyweight Champion, Joe Bugner. London was an old 34 at the time of this fight. He had already fought some of the greatest names heavyweight boxing history.Brian had been the British Heavyweight Champ at one time in his youth. He lost his British Crown to the great Henry Cooper by decision. He kept fighting for several more years, winning more than losing. Brian represented his country, Britain, with class, and he can rest easy now, for he did much while he was with us.
