Sound pressure is doubled every 3db however loudness only doubles every 10db.
It is 1.48x louder, not 2x as loud. Still a massive jump over! Love how he brushes it off like "slightly louder" lol

I've watched many hundreds of Nurburgring runs, but none look like this, as good as this. It's like a whole new experience, do you use a wide angle lens, or something? Kudos.

In terms out loudness. No. What gets me is this is the car he said he goes out in most. So he actually floors it this loud. And if he’s not flooring because it’s loud, then what was the point going this mad with the exhaust

That happened to me 2017 on my Honda Fireblade I too was 133dbs and was told 131dbs was the limit, luckily, I only paid for one lap as I would have lost any extra laps, if a had paid for them.
Sound so badly. A e9x M3 with no cats sounds crap. It’s a shame because it’s one of the best sounding engine with the proper set up

Pardon my ignorance but why is there a sound or dB limit on road cars on the ring? Isnt it meant for racing? Is it due to the locals living not being pleased with the excessive sound levels? 🤔

Db limit at a racetrack like that is the most stupid and liberal thing... I hate it. Same issue here in California. At least at the Ring it's 130db. At Laguna Seca it's like 87db or something.
