The 6 Gallon Tall back in effect! Scape looks great, I like that it's a bit shorter for coral. And came with a free mushroom! What about placing it between the dresser the TV is on and the cabinet with your other tanks?
Hi Astronomical, Haha, the free mushroom is always nice! Thanks. Not enough room next to that dresser. I’ve been observing it under the table. It actually look cool under there. 😊let’s see what unfolds. 👍🏻
What is up Tom!!!? I hope u enjoyed ur vacation. Glad to see the infamous 6 back up! Just caught up to the last videos i missed. Been working on some of my old trucks lately so i have been away.
Hey FP, glad you caught up! Thanks! What kind of old trucks are you restoring? My older brother, not the fish tank brother made his career from his parts restoration company. He now owns a company called Pypes Exhaust. I know they manufacture truck exhaust also. The other company was Performance Years GTO and Firebird
@@TOMReefer 90’ GM. I have several chevy silverados, sierras, s10 etc. I restore, paint, motor swap, and sell. It was a hobby for about 20 years or more but now its all i do. Thats awesome about your brother dude!
I currently am running 5 tanks and use covers on both the displays and the sumps to minimize evaporation. I either run a skimmer or an air stone in the sumps. I remove the sump covers in the summer when the temperatures reach 80 and run small fans. Seems to work fine for me since 2012.
Hi Ryan, yes! Not sure what I’ll put in it yet. I originally wanted to make something different. I thought why not a tall Nano? 👍🏻😊thanks for the comment
Hi Joseph, I know, I did that years ago. I found that recharging the resin is never the same. It expends its DI capacity so much quicker after the original. Im not sure if the science is right with that statement? But I may revisit that method again. 👍🏻
Love how unique this tank is, looks awesome!!
Thanks! I figured trying something different👍🏻

hot water will soften that tube a lot and make it much easy to get it on the barb.
Absolutely! 👍🏻😊
Looking good Tom!
Thanks X! 😊👍🏻
👍
Not set up for too many more tanks you say? I see another tank in the Tom Reefer studio in our future
Haha 😂

@@fishpony1211 wow! Very cool! Those are considered classic models now right? 25 years?
@@TOMReefer yes sir. I have one with an antique plate👍

Hi Locomotive Breth, sounds good! My only concern would be oxygen exchange, which seems like you have handled👍🏻I will try it with my 6 gallon. Thanks.
@@TOMReefer I should probably also mention that I run algae in all of my sumps and I am not able to keep SPS very well -- mostly LPS.
Looking great 👍🏻
Thanks WW! I appreciate it. 👍🏻
🎉🎉
You were first Darth! 😁
Hi Tom. Very nice aquascape tall. Idea of occupants ?
Hi Jean! Thanks, haha, I have no idea yet? 🤪 I’d like to put one yellow clown goby in. Any ideas from you on type coral?
@@TOMReefer ahhhh great. My yellow clown goby coming next week. My first reef fish. 🤩
@@jibe4781 hey Jean! Great! 😃I will try and get one also. New video out soon, still editing 🤪👍🏻

How many gallons is the tank to the left of your computer?
Hi Nicky, 75 gallons
@@TOMReefer Thanks
What did you say that cement was called. Where you buy it
Hi Shawn. E Marco 400- BRS sells it 👍🏻
Don't bin your resin mate, get yourself some lye and clean it out
