I have dealt with illegally parked cars in my condo building many times... Do not call a tow truck... do NOT notify property management. It is YOUR parking spot. .it is exclusive use property. It is on YOUR deed. Call City of Toronto By-Law... they will attend and want to see your property ownership documents. Have them ready to show. Once they see that, they are happy to tag the vehicle and call their own tow-truck (which comes way faster than if you called one)...... no different if you owned a single detached home, and someone randomly decided to park in your driveway !!! This does not have to be complicated.
Pro tip: Once security gets wind that you called bylaw they will sometimes tip off the owner of the illegally parked car (especially in an Airbnb ghetto) . After you call bylaw... park someone down in the underground and watch your parking spot....until by-law arrives... If the person who owns the car tries to retrieve the car in the meantime... you can confront them... in such a manner, that they will never park there again. I had one advantage over most... I had a tandem parking spot... so I would park my car in front in my own spot... - blocking the illegally parked car behind. I would place my bumper one inch away from the illegally parked car in the back of the spot. I would take a tonne of photographs of both cars... every angle... Then I would wait to call by-law.. two, maybe three days later.. 🤣 Driver of car will get the message,,, Some in my building used pieces of really sticky paper... the kind that is very hard to peel off... and stick it on the windshield in the line of sight of the driver position - with a note.... "You are illegally parked... your car has been photographed and has been reported to bylaw..."😆
These are professional real estate agents with absolutely no knowledge of the Downtown core, in real estate its free for all no credentials needed i assume. How on earth a professional real estate have no knowledge of the work they do for a living. Did you the see the duos reasoning in this video?

You get a mortgage from the bank that borrows from the Bank of Canada. The banks don’t print money…… The Bank of Canada prints money
Mortgage = dead pledge. Not making this up. That's what its literally meaning is. Look up the etymology.

I havent even listened, but I will tell you right now its because theres a very good chance its still CMHC insured so they hold no liability.

The awkward and uncomfortable laughing during the topic du jour says it all, the entire industry top to bottom is complicit, banks realtors appraisers all of you. And when the economy is in tatters after the taxpayers are forced to bail out the corrupt and immoral behaviors you engage in every day, then you will point your fingers at the other guys and blame them.
Lets also remember that over the past 10 years, real estate commissions for realtors was merely a side hustle.. not their main income. Most realtors made the majority of their income speculating and flipping properties.. I can't tell you the number of homes I went to see in 2021 who were "owned by the realtor"... They would buy, paint, do some minor cleanup of the yard and then flip the property... that party for realtors is now over..... time to trade in the Range Rover folks....
We need the stories and the stats, that way people are aware of the tragedy some buyers,sellers,agents are trying to pull, not everyone wants people to be aware that’s why they don’t want you to share the stories and the stats shows the current market value, you guys are doing a great job been watching you for past 6 months God bless you guys Good luck 👍

My wife and I are both retired and planning to purchase an updated home
We've been years in this thought process and why updated? So after we both pass away, our daughters inheritance will make it less stressful to deal with, since she will be living with us. There's another important reason that I can't mention, but everyone should think about seriously.

Why 5% commission built in the sell price and included in the mortgage? Is there any way of changing it to the way how the rest of the World so that buyer and seller pay and negotiate the commission
For now, the system is how it is. Changes may come.
Fake mortgage applications are pointless. You still need to afford the monthly mortgage payments to keep the house.
Often times these losers lie on their applications because they are counting on stacking the bedrooms and basement with borders and renters to help pay the mortgage... the bank won't give that kind of income much credence during the underwriting process, because the home is not zoned to be a rooming house. So prospective owners lie on the applications.

Numbered business with fraudulent income goes to bank to get mortgage. numbered business goes bankrupt, and tax payers are on the hook for the business mortgages that shouldnt have existed in the first place.

You call the parking enforcement (They are Toronto Police Enforcement COPS) they call the contracted tow truck. Its not a million $$ purchase going on that they verifying paper work just a reasonable proof. Thats why I am saying Downtown core is whole different ball game I have 3 vacant properties there I deal with this kind of stuff every now and then. Its labelled on the deed as P4-123 (exactly like a parking spot number). Cops can go to private property when I am escorting them to my private property Accept your mistake like a man there is no shame. I don't mortgage its Haram in Islam i just buy cash whenever I have enough savings. My net loss during this crisis is 0 If you follow the Laws of Allah , Allah will protect you , if you follow greed of Canadians laws nitty gritty of interest rates,mortgage, flipping, appreciation etc then Govt would play a cat and mouse game with you and in this game your the mouse . I don't rent those out and I don't airbnb and I am doing absolutely good.
You are bang on about illegal parked cars in underground. It is YOUR exclusive use property... bylaw will tag and tow, no problem, as long as you can show them proof you own or lease the parking spot. Involving property management will get you nowhere...
