The machinery in Greece, especially in food processing, is top-notch. They really take cleanliness and quality seriously, and it shows in their products
that's because it seems steps were edited out. we see a thick sludge-slurry of crushed olives (and other ingredients) getting pumped into a tank, but we see actual liquid pumped out after. it boggles my mind that the most important part of the process, the actual pressing, was not shown.
It’s not really very informative after all. It’s like saying this is how to change your oil in your car. Then showing the parts needed, a video of an engine, and that’s it. Nothing more. Pretty crap. I only watched it long enough to write my comment.
Could have probably gone for a voice over of what was actually happening and explained how the olive oil is made instead of just playing some music lol
As I understand from the video, you pick the olives, then add water and lemons and oranges, squash everything together, including the olive pips and then it becomes olive oil. Think I will do this at home. Ha Ha
Just thinking....This video would've been more fascinating if they had Been playing Italian godfather music With this video" this would've added The old country of Italy to the Atmosphere of this video"
This is crazy. One thing's for sure: this is not true olive oil, it's a weird concoction that ditches traditional methods that preserve quality to cut costs. Why am I not surprised an American company is behind this atrocity?
its not normal to add fruit, this might be a special olive oil and certainly not better than pure olive oil with no additives. Most of the times when you add something other then olives to produce olive oil its either to hide some bad odor/smell, or bad taste, or too fool some european nordics that think olive oil with herb or fruit is better(basically marketing)

The Company name is Il Fiorello, it's in California. It's on the fork lift truck driver's shirt, right at the start. There's a website of course. The website explains that all that fruit is to make their speciality flavoured oil.
Before watching this I foolishly assumed you crush olives until the oil is out, then filter out anything that is not oil, then bottle it. Imagine my shock. I like how you showed the procedure at least twice so we understood clearly. Next i will learn how water can come out of a tap.
Wrong, real olive oil is made only from olives, nothing added but for increasing the liquids they added lime and lemon. That is why all store bought olive oil taste so bad. I’m sorry for people who think they are buying the real thing. They can never tell the difference until they taste the real stuff. In my family we produce our own olive oil and last month we have non left so i go bought a gallon from store and made sure it’s the most expensive and says 100% real olives but it tastes nothing like olives 💔

I don't know any more about how the oil is extracted from the olives than I did before watching the video.

Well that does it, I’m not going to watch it.
@@rakninja it was not show because it happens in tanks where you cannot see trough
Same.. I know use is olives.

4:40 the shaking of the trees to harvest really surprised me !
This video highlights the importance of agriculture technology in modern farming. Well presented
What's with the limes, oranges, and lemons? I thought olive oil was just pressed, and water extracted.
Different oil with flavor or acidity
Anche io vedo questo ? Non sapevo di questo trucchetto , sarà per dargli acidità
Clearly couldn't afford subtitles.
Thanks for explaining the process so Clearly
I’m so impressed with this video. It was entertaining and engaging!
Wow. . .🤩🤩🤩really so great hi-technology modern machine works oil processing so good and nice beautiful amazing🤩🤩🤩
This was about as educational as watching grass grow or paint dry.
hahaha glad I'm not the only one.
I learned precisely nothing.

Wonderful Video
Good for health thanks

Interesting to watch. Just left me with different questions though.
Extraordinaire !
It tastes good I also drink
nice info

The traditional pressing method became a sifting one with no quality loss.
This way of olive oil machine processing is so great and clean, than to processing of Palm oil is like messy and dirty processing.
I can’t understand why video’s are made where we have to guess what is happening more or less. Less music and more commentary.
Great method
Interesting. Thank you.
Very Nice
Cali - usa - wish almond farmers would harvest that way!
Interesting to watch, from farm to fork
Without narration, these videos are useless.
معصرة زيتون حديثة وفي نضافة في عصر زيتون بس ليش عم يحطو حمضيات مع زيتون بيخرب زيت وبرتفع أسيتو
outrageous this is not olive oil at long shots, its a sauce
Guess again

The music was annoying
Poor baby.. Sad you don't know how to use the mute button
Could this be a front company for Italian godfather Mafia...just kidding
Isso sim é um verdadeiro óleo de azeite e não uns enganosos por ai
Definitely not extra-virgin olive oil.
That's made by nuns in an olive oil convent.
the first clip that shows the Pieralisi machine was definitely extra virgin
But its definitely fucked up olive oil 😆😆

What incredibly obnoxious music you chose. The only way I could watch this was to mute the audio.

where can one get mini oil mili ,based in south africa ,im inspired to start my own prodution
so what was the lemon and the orange doing inside 😂😂
Wait just a cotton pickin' minute: did I see lime hot peppers and oranges cut up and mixed in with the olives?
😍😍😍
Very good 👍
Why oranges, lemons and peppers ???

Wrong..its because this is what customers will buy
How to purchase your olive oil? is there a Website?
So they throw discarded fruit and peppers in there?
they add fruit?! always thought it was pure olive oil

And an aluminum can isn't made out of tin. But, 9+1= 10
this Explains why all oil is extra virgin
useless. Should cut out the annoying music, and try explaining what the various steps actually are. You can learn more faster from wiki.
edit of this video should be better, some camera moves does not really look good and looks amateur
Why are they adding leman and oranges to olivies during press process ..!!??
Hello ı have questions. Why do they add lemons and oranges to olives. I would appreciate if someone who knows can reply. Thank you 1.45 minutes

Why add limes and oranges?
Its flavored olive oil
what happens to all the pulp ?.
Fertilizer or animal feed
Why they puting Limon and Orangs in it?!! could you please leave it just Olive oil!!!
Olio d'oliva solo per americani, tanto cosa ne capiscono??
where can I find this oil here in Brazil I saw the label but I couldn't see the company name

The most important bit was missed. How does the mashed up gunge get pressed so the juice flows out? And why the irritating music that adds nothing.
You must not know how a mute button works. Btw oil is not juice. This happens to be one of the many flavored oils available.
From where the video?
