My friend and I have been arguing what the best Metallica album is for the past 35 years, He says Master of Puppets and I say Kill Em All. I'm glad someone finally agrees with me.
I think ride the lightning is better than kill em all
A couple others you forgot that were obviously inspired by Metallica are Xentrix and Meshuggah's first album Contradiction's Collapse.
Xentrix yes. But the first Meshuggah was more thrash than Metallica.
