Looks like a beautiful camping spot. My husband and I converted our minivan into a camper and we have gone camping the past three summers in it. He retired last spring so luckily we were able to camp for almost the whole summer this year. We especially love camping in September when everything calms down and there's less people. Watching the leaves change and less mosquitoes. We planed on camping all throughout B.C but ended up staying in the Northern part of B.C. I can't wait to go again but probably not as long so we can focus more on our garden this year because of the food prices going up so much. Thanks for bringing us along.😊

I love that you use a square body chevy to haul the camper on! I’m planning on using my 73 highboy and I’m wondering how does the truck feel with the camper? What’s the total weight of it all loaded up?

      '73 Highboy :) Nice!
The camper is about 2100 loaded up and with water in it. It's feeling really solid driving, at least at speeds under 70mph. With the trailering special it has the extra brakes and suspension and I'm sure that helps. It stops really well! It certainly isn't great on gas and gas is more expensive in Canada :( I think we'll be looking at a more fuel efficient truck to travel further in the future but for travelling within a few hour radius it's a great set up!

    Camper questions....
Why did you pick this type of camper to buy instead of an RV or a trailer or pop-up type?
It looks like you have now used all the water types/water storage systems in the camper (drinkable, grey, black, etc)....find any new leaks or issues?
    From the previous camper video...
It looked like you could add a few more solar panels to the top. Is that on the goal list?
You can add some metal hand holds to the side/top where the ladder ends to help get you on and off safely. Or add in a longer ladder.

We like the truck camper because we can get into more remote camping locations. We get more clearance than most RVs or trailers. We plan on moving into a bigger 21' in the future though. You have the right idea about the extra solar panel! I think that I talk about more solar in the repair video maybe? We haven't had any more troubles so far! Fingers crossed! I hope you enjoyed the videos :)

Nice video. I'm happy to see you got the leak issue resolved. I hope you have many enjoyable trouble free outings!
Do you have a preventive maintenance plan to keep the camper leak free? If so do you plan to do it yourself or bring it to the dealer? I guess this can be material for future videos:)

Because there is a two year manufacturer warranty I think that we'll be taking it in to the dealership to have any preventative work done. There was a 90 day dealer warranty that was confusing the leak issue...I'm still not sure what that all meant lol but yes, we will continue to do regular maintenance. Thankfully it wasn't a roof leak and the fitting was replaced. They also did a 90 day inspection since it was in the shop anyway.
I am certainly enjoying finally having a camper that isn't leaking and would like to keep it that way!
