It’s great to see this channel growing. Hopefully it continues to do so! Easily the best gunpla channel on UA-cam. I’ve yet to see a channel that puts as much effort into it as this one.
i guess Im asking randomly but does anyone know of a method to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the account password. I appreciate any help you can give me
@Jaiden Trey I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Hey bruther just wanted to tell you, thank you for inspiring me to paint gunpla and get into gunpla, 3 months ago I walked into a hobby shop looking for something to keep my mind busy, and today I'm working on my 1st painted kit and my 6th overall build. I'm looking forward to your next accomplishments.
What an awesome Christmas present. Thanks Monsieur Gundam. The amount of talent you gained within the short time you’ve practiced gives me hope for myself. For that, I thank you.
Amazing video man, I got into Gundam this year because of your channel and have been building kits with my little brother. Thanks for introducing me into this.
I bought the master grade alex gundam 2.0 under your recommendation and it was kick ass. It was my first master grade kit as I only worked on high grades and real grade kits. I broke the ball joint part of the right hand but I was able to fix it. Thanks papa gundam for inspiring me to not only get back into gunpla but gundam as a whole. Merry Christmas also fuck disney and what they did to starwars.
@Benny Spiegel-Chen I cant move the ball joint in the hand now either mostly due to avoid breaking it again and because of how tight the ball joint is.
You are one of my favorite UA-cam content creators. I have always felt if the platform was different you would have exploded by now. I always feel like they hold you back because your not PC
I love the honesty and humbleness in addressing your mistakes. Win or Learn. Something I have embraced over the last decade. There is no more losing. That last Gundam is dope too. I really appreciate all the subtle details in line work, pistons, small oil smudges.. so cool. I need to get moving on one. Ha
I like seeing your painting progression, as someone who’s debated dumping even more hours into painting kits, it’s inspiring! The Gouf custom and Zaku were gorgeous (pls show some Zeon love Bandai lords) and the Heavy Arms made me want to watch Thunderbolt again
I absolutely love this channel. You are what got me to start painting my kits. I tried my first one over Thanksgiving. The mg full armor unicorn. I love it. Painting adds realism and is so relaxing.
I really appreciate this Gundam. Having returned to 40k roughly about two and half years ago, I can appreciate many of the points you're making. Also I've been really tempted to start with Gunpla kits thanks to your channel.
For your first year you did great. It's because you went all in with air compressors, air brushes, dioramas, clear coats, sand blasting and multiple kits. You didn't dabble or get your toes wet, you dove right into that Gunpla world with the eye of the tiger. Hunger in your eyes and fire in your stomach.
Your green Zaku color transition is amazing I love it, you gotta do a video on how you paint with your color transition method. I would love to learn a bit of that technique from you. Keep up the great paint job and Merry Christmas.
I don't buy/paint/anything, barely even watch mecha/anime, but I sure do enjoy the work you fans put into it. Even the so called mistakes you all make, give life to your kits in my eyes. Really enjoyable video. Thank you.
Ay! Thanks for the great year gunpla! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed your content thus far. Keep doing you man. The authenticity is what I come here for and it’s great to look back on the journey you took.
Hey man thanks for this year. You actually got hooked on gunpla this year. Before it was something that I didn’t really know how to get into it. Your videos really helped not only to get into the hobby but some more difficult times this year. Hope next year gets better for you
Amazing paint jobs! It's really cool to hear you talk about what Gunpla means to you. To say it is your escape and how it has helped you emotionally. It's nice to hear how much this hobby means to you. Keep it up, I'm looking forward to your videos!
I got into gunpla around 6 months ago with 4 HGs, 2 RGs a RE100 and a MG. So far the only painting I've done is small details and corrections. I plan to invest the time and money into learning to airbrush inspired by you. Nice work and heres to another year of painting
Papa G, I just wanna tell you, your videos got me seriously into Gunpla. I did straight builds when I was a kid but never got into painting. I started watching your videos and It reminded me how much fun building kits was and how happy it made me, so I figured Id pick up an HG and see if i could get a feel for it again. One kit is all it took to get me hooked. I bought an airbrush and started painting shortly after, now all i do is obsess about new color schemes and trying to get better and learning more skills. Sometimes it's frustrating sometimes there's set backs sometimes I screw something up and i don't want to even look at a kit for a week but I always come back, I always want to get better. It's all part of the journey, set backs and frustrations aside I'm always having fun. So, you inspired me. You got me hooked on a hobby I love and just want to keep getting better at. Thanks bitchacho!
I just got into the hobby and found your videos... needless to say I wouldn’t be as good as you in 10 years truly amazing for only one year keep it up love the videos!
Great video! I really enjoyed your reflection on your painting journey this year. I’m also aspiring to improve my painting skills. I agree with your statement about not fixing past kits as you improve. It’s good to see your past and it lets you appreciate your present. Keep on learning and documenting your journey. Not enough gunpla you tubers do this. Thanks 👍.
You’ve inspired me to start painting my kits, I will be starting with the Barbatos, hopefully in the next month. Also your work on Sinanju Stein is a masterwork.
I started 4 months ago and am now painting the PG strike rouge. Can't stand the pink... I look forward to all your vids. Love your music too brotha! Rock on!
You deserve more than 3 freaking dollars for doing this. You have the best english language Gunpla channel out there. Please keep it up, I look forward to whatever is up next. Edit: Also even subbed with notifications turned on I had to find this manually, COME ON UA-cam!
Damn... Wow! This is Amazing.. everything about this video is pure art! Perfection, pure art. I don't have the words. Everything about this video, your reflection on all your builds. The gundam, everything about and in this video is just... Astonishing. You should be so proud of yourself, brother. Inspirational
I only just recently found this channel and I like it. Not to mention that I'm already subscribe to one of your other channels. The first thing I wanted was to see all the other stuff you've done and wouldn't you know you provided
Since the RX-78 Origin your work inspired me to paint my models to the best of my ability, even if I sucked at it. Also...... Bandai: "People dont like zakus" Me: "I need at least ten!!!!" Glad I bought 2 origin Zakus before the year ends😁
Watching in 2021, the display really adds to the gunplas, looks so koo, u got the mobile suits all posed up and the pilot & mechanics hanging around, than all the various crane tools and stuff laying around, than i noticed the flashing lights on the walls, man that is so nice.
Hey Gundam, glad you're a fan of grunt suits like the Jesta. You should totally pick up an MG Jegan if you haven't - really light on the panel lines (maybe this is your shot at dipping into scribing your own panel lines) but an insanely solid build. And of course, if you want the MG Jegan Type-D from Unicorn it's P-Bandai because it's Bandai.
I've been building gunplay for a year now and mine don't look anything like yours. Granted in only building high grades and I don't have the same level of experience that you have when it comes to painting. That being said your kits are fantastic! And I hope I can someday get close to your level. I can't wait to see what you'll make next year.
Military planes not falling apart. Have you've not seen the F/18. That plane is over 40 years old. Amazing paint work, I just sticker mine and call it a day.
It's nice watching something come together I'm also a massive Gundam fan I've been a massive Gundam fan since Gundam Wing. Also group on Toonami love is certainly a Battlefield and Gundam there's a lot of love
Very good advice on not going back to re-do a kit. I started with armor (tanks) models and I've actually got several copies of the exact same kit that I've done over multiple years. The difference between the first (brush painted, paint too thick, etc) and most recent version of the kit I've done (air brushed, light weathering, preshading, etc) is very noticeable.
The Gouf and Gouf custom are probably actually my favorite mobile suits of the Gundam universe so I understand the want for a more master grade and perfect grade suits that aren't just another version of more recent Gundams.
i care about what you do. always look forward to your video, your paint is not only a lesson for yourself, it also help people like me who is looking to start painting kits. please do more in 2020 :) happy new year to you. in advance :)
im JUST starting my gunpla journey, i made 4 high grades over the last week just to dip my toes, gonna take it as far as i can the next year, hopefully by this time next year my work will look as good haha this is sick man great video.

you look like you have been painting all your life...you go skills! thanks for sharing your talent!...i'm still scared of jumping into airbrushing due to price...buy another new kit or buy airbrush hardware? tough decision
you make me feel so much better about starting to paint Gundam. you're already so good but you admit when you've messed up it you learn from it. I feel like if I mess up alittle I'll screw the whole thing up. But you make me realize that it's not the end of the world, and I'll learn for next time. Keep it up Gundam, and never change.
The one thing I do for "pre" shading is start with the bone stock color of the armor and then go up a shade, very lightly. The key is to hint at a change with out spelling it out. Love the paintjobs. That Zaku green bro 😨 Soo much better than the unpainted plastic which honestly looks cool anyway. Love the gundam Mechbay/hangar too. I so want one. ..nice graphics on the video too
To me it seems like killing 3 to 4 birds with one stone but I get what Gundam is saying. If you turn a passion into a job, you lose the passion aspect of it and it becomes a chore, an obligation. Shame, but I prefer a happy and healthy Gundam to one that is dead inside.
How would others feel if their "gifts" to Gundam were turned into his profit by selling them? The tax man and alphabet people would also break down his door, and shoot Fluffy while trying to get their share of his Gunpla sales.
