I love this movie. While Spidey is 100% a New York superhero, it’s fun seeing him outside of his element in other countries. And Mysterio is such an entertaining villain!

Quentin Beck AKA Mysterio first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #13 in June of 1964. Since that time he has gone on to menace Spider-Man many times, and occasionally Daredevil as well. He is considered to be one of Spider-Man's most iconic and greatest foes, along with Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Kraven and Venom. Mysterio was also an original member of the infamous Sinister Six. The "helmet" is affectionately known among fans as Mysterio's "fishbowl". In the comics, he was a disgruntled former special effects artist and Stuntman turned criminal, who used illusions and mechanical devices to achieve his goals, mostly including an increase in personal wealth.
Mysterio's outfit in Spider-Man: Far From Home is spot-on with the comic book version. The suit is mainly green with a purple cape and boasts a considerable fishbowl helmet with green accents. Additionally, the suit is incredibly intricate, with detailed designs and textures. The suit's inspiration came from Mysterio's iconic look in Marvel Comics, with the designers aiming to create a modern and realistic suit that stayed true to the original source material. They successfully achieved this goal through a clever blend of practical effects and CGI. In Spider-Man: Far From Home, Mysterio's suit is a faithful and expertly crafted rendition of his timeless comic book appearance. Mysterio, also known as Quentin Beck, is a notorious supervillain who frequently appears in Marvel Comics. This character was brought to life by the creative minds of Stan Lee and Steve Ditko and made his debut in The Amazing Spider-Man #13 back in June 1964.
Before you watch the 3rd Tom Holland Spider-Man film, don’t forget to watch the rest of the Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield Spider-Man films. It will help you understand Tom Holland’s 3rd film. 👍🏼
It's VERY highly recommended that you pause your MCU journey temporarily while you revisit older MCU and non-MCU content. You'll understand why later. Here is a list for you. 1. X-Men franchise 2. Finish off the older Spiderman movies (Both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield) 3. Daredevil show (season 1 minimum)
I knew that there was something way off with Fury because he was way too verbally aggressive with Peter. I felt vindicated when the reveal happened at the end. The bald headed guy with glasses(William) working with Beck was also the actor who was the child star from A Christmas Story. Look at MJ's face when Peter asked if she was only following him because she thought he was Spiderman. Her face gave away that she was protecting herself for possible rejection by saying yes...instead of telling him she liked him. The drones did do damage to match the illusions.
Mr. October brought up project blue beam. Made me really happy. Now I just need him to look into 8 inchs per mile squared and sea level. Earth being 3/4 water.
Obviously what makes MJ and Peter being into each other in this movie is that Tom and Zendaya are into each other in real life too. Just a great movie though in general!!
As always great reaction guys ❤ Love how this movie shows how much trust Tony had in Peter 😢 As well my favorite Jake Gyllenhaal movie is Southpaw a boxing movie with a lot of drama and a beautiful ending you should definitely check it out 👍
"So they just pay tribute to him because he saved the universe?' 'Yeah." made me smile. In the 60's cartoons I grew up with, Mysterio was a favorite Spiderman villain of mine. Like most cartoons back then - the plot was foiled and the villain was stopped to either get away or be imprisoned. We didn't kill them so they returned without wasted exposition. I Digress - Mysterio was also mysterious - this movie pulled back the curtains to reveal the Wizard of OZ. :) I'm guessing this was the start of Tony Stark's proprietary software and technology beginning to leak into the world.
And with this, the Infinity Saga is complete...now onto the Multiverse Saga. I would compare to like 2 separate books, Infinity Saga had 3 phases (3 chapters) and now The Multiverse Saga has phases 4, 5 and 6 (we're in the midst of phase 5 at the moment). Btw, did you guys read the phase 4 release order list, or do I need to write it down so you guys won't get confused ?
Y'all didn't have it in this cut but you can actually see Beck before the water elemental attack in the background spying on Peter before he sets off his play.
''Isnt Prague like Sokovia'' Goddamnit those Americans and they geography hahahaah :D No, Sokovia is fictional Marvel Comics place, Prague is capital city of Czech.
The first time I saw this in theaters, before the post credit reveal, I thought something about Fury was off but couldn't put my finger on it. The line that gives it way is when Spider-Man mentions Captain Marvel and "Fury" says "Don't invoke her name".... Fury and Carol are pals, but he doesn't idolize her... meanwhile to Talos and the Skulls she's a savior so that was the clue. This might be my favorite of the Holland films. When you eventually get to No Way Home I'll be curious what you think. Before you start Phase 4 you should probably rewatch -- of all the films -- Incredible Hulk No I'm not kidding. And maybe watch at least a couple episodes of the non-phase MCU Daredevil show...even if it's not for the channel. Just a thought, context wise. All of the MCU shows made -for-Netflix were great but Daredevil might get a callback during Phase 4 you may want to be in the know for.
40:49 Nah the Destruction happened 😅 Mysterio wants to destroy the city, so that he can come to its rescue when people need him to the most 😂😂 thats his whole plan 😅😢
"EDITH Stands For 'Even Dead, I'm The Hero.'" "Did I Tell You How My Wife Pretended To Blip Out?" "I Thought That You Could Sense That With Your Peter-Tingle." "I May Not Know Much But I Know This: Europeans Love Americans." "See? That Wasn't So Hard." "And Therefore I Have Value?" "Oh I Love Led Zeppelin!" "It's Easy To Fool People When They're Already Fooling Themselves." "Spider-Man's Name Is Peter Parker!" You'll see, Peter. People... need to believe. And nowadays... they'll believe anything." Mysterio Is The Truth!
I absolutely love the movie called The Prince of Persia sands Prince Dastan is played by Jake and it's pretty much one of the only movies I've ever seen where every single main character dies and it still has a pretty happy and amazing ending
So many things go unnoticed like the black and red suit Spider-Man created had less tech in it because he doesn't need it like iron Man does. Also the Stark defense network drones are more advanced than the Ultron bots in age of Ultron which took all the original avengers plus Wanda her brother Quicksilver with the Vision to defeat and Spider-Man defeated them all on his own. The reasons Spider-Man didn't sense mysterio's true intent before because he turn off the spider sense because he wasn't sure he wanted to be Spider-Man which you will see something similar happen in one of the other Spider-Man movies.
My recommendations to cap off this year: Black Widow 2020 (the official kickstarter to phase four) Hawkeye (Black Widow is the only phase four content you need before going into this show) The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (I think you’re gonna enjoy this one.) My favorite part of this film was Happy's heart to heart with Peter. Both of them were still mourning the loss of their friend, but Happy also helped Peter come to terms that he doesn't have to become the next Iron Man. Rather, he should just continue being the best Spider-Man around. Happy also confirmed to Peter that reviving him was the main reason Tony contributed to the time heist to begin with. Happy truly is the unsung hero of this film.
Far From Home is the official end to phase 3 of the MCU. Phase 4 begins with WandaVision. The reveal that Talos was pretending to be Fury and that Nick was out in Space previews Secret Invasion D+ show and The Marvels movie. Phase 4 is all about introducing new characters and heroes while fleshing out the remaining Avenger characters.
Good news is the next Spider-Man movie no way home is an all time great, the best by far and sadly after no way home is where it all goes south so be sure to enjoy no way home since it is the end of the blockbusters
You have to watch all the original Spiderman movies with Toby Maguire, and both Amazing Spiderman movies with Andrew Garfield before you can watch No Way Home.
Monday with the Octobers! As for your idea re: bringing Tony back, it's not that far-fetched. Remember the one truism about tv and the movies: No one is ever truly dead. There is always a way to bring them back. The only limitation is one's imagination. For example, how cool would it be if his daughter Morgan grew up to be the next Iron Man and Tony was the AI voice she hears (instead of Jarvis). Just a thought... As always, great reaction. Your reaction videos make it easier to start the week. Keep up the great work!
Gyllenhaal's best flick... Donnie Darko!!! Btw, this is about the point in the MCU u need to visit older Marvel movies before the MCU existed... Spiderman movies, both the McQuire & Garfield versions (def mandatory viewing to watch before the next Spiderman movie) X-Men movies before u watch Wanda-Vision... The Daredevil TV show before u watch Hawkeye & She-Hulk theres even Agents of Shield which is the Agent Coulson spinoff that u may want to watch later on, its a very long series that is MCU canon but its not essential viewing to keep following the MCU... Agent Carter was a fun lil short TV spinoff for Peggy but also not essential viewing, pretty good tho...
@@TheOctobersReact *nah, gotta watch the old Toby Mcgwire & Andrew Garfield Spiderman's before u watch the MCU's No Way Home Spiderman or it won't make any sense... Spider-Man (2002) Spider-Man 2 (2004) Spider-Man 3 (2007) The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) Gotta watch all those before the MCU Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) or else it won't make any sense, Marvel retconned all the previous Spider-Man films & connected it all to the MCU... The previous Spider-Man films are mandatory viewing before Spider-Man: No Way Home
@@TheOctobersReactI respectfully pose a question- now that you’ve watched Endgame and all the MCU films before it, aren’t you glad you watched them in order? Wouldn’t you be upset if you watched Endgame first before the others? The emotional payoffs would fall flat. It’s not an understatement to say you MUST watch the older Spider Man films before the next SpiderMan: No Way Home. I can’t say too much, but if you watch No Way Home and then go back and watch the older SpiderMan films, you’ll be very sorry you did it that way. It’s not a matter of opinion, and nobody is trying to tell you what to do, per se. But if you watch No away Home before the older SpiderMan films, you’ll regret it, and much of the movie will fall flat for you.
Since 1986, I've been a huge fan of Spider-Man, and since 1995, I've also been a fan of Mysterio. Mysterio, an enigmatic character, is portrayed as someone with extraordinary abilities in both the comics and the film. Although he initially appears heroic, there is an air of suspicion surrounding him. Mysterio confronts Spider-Man in a public showdown in both mediums, firmly convinced that the web-slinger is a phony and aims to unveil his true nature to the entire world. Mysterio is a cunning illusionist who employs his abilities to trick and control Spider-Man. Mysterio crafts intricate illusions in both the comics and the movie that leave Spider-Man doubting his perception of reality. Despite his heroic facade, Mysterio is a malevolent character with selfish intentions, willing to deceive and manipulate anyone to achieve his objectives. This is evident in both the comics and the film. Spider-Man: Far From Home does justice to Mysterio's debut in Marvel Comics. The movie stays true to the character's essence and motivations while modernizing the story for today's viewers.
So since this is the last project of Phase 3, the next projects in order of Phase 4 to watch are: 1. WandaVision Season 1 (9 episodes) 2. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Season 1 (6 episodes) 3. Loki Season 1 (6 episodes; do not watch Season 2 yet) 4. Black Widow (Movie) 5. What If Season 1 (9 episodes; do not watch Season 2 yet) 6. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (Movie) 7. Eternals (Movie) 8. Hawkeye Season 1 (6 episodes) 9. Spider-Man: No Way Home (Movie) 10. Moon Knight Season 1 (6 episodes) 11. Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness (Movie) 12. Ms. Marvel Season 1 (6 episodes) 13. Thor: Love and Thunder (Movie) 14. I Am Groot Shorts (Optional, they did come out with a season 2 but I don't remember the titles of them) 15. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Season 1 (6 episodes) 16. Werewolf by Night Special Presentation (You can choose to watch the original black and white screen or the colored version, but I prefer to watch the black and white one first) 17. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (Movie) 18. Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special Presentation If I am missing anything please comment to let the Octobers know
Spiderman is the highest moneymaker of all superheroes.. so yea, he can carry a franchise. There's a reason why Sony is so intent on keeping the movie rights. Side note: When Marvel was in Deep Trouble (tm) in the 1990s, they sold off tv, film, and video game rights of some of their properties.. Spiderman and his Rogues Gallery went to Sony. Fantastic Four and X-Men went to Fox. Hulk, Avengers, and Captain America went to Universal. To keep the rights from reverting back to Marvel, they have to use the characters every so many years. Fast forward and Universal didn't use the Avengers or Captain America within the deadlines and the rights reverted back to Marvel and they made the first Iron Man movie. The rights to the Hulk partially reverted to where Universal has distribution rights to Hulk stand alone movies - which is why there hasn't been another solo Hulk movie since the first one. Disney then acquired Marvel. Fox later had major financial issues and also were acquired by Disney, bringing the X-Men and Fantastic Four under their umbrella (more on that in a second). Around that same time, there was an internal problem at Sony - industrial espionage - that revealed some of their long range plans and there was some back office deal made between Sony and Disney to allow the Spiderman character to be used in the MCU in exchange for allowing Sony to make solo Spiderman movies that were also part of the MCU - and include appearances from some MCU characters/actors (such as Tony Stark and Happy). So far, the deal has worked out pretty well for both studios and I don't see it changing. Re: The Fantastic Four and X-Men. All FF rights and contracts have expired now, allowing Marvel free reign to reboot those characters. X-Men is a little more complicated since many of the Fox contracts require any use of the characters to be offered to the existing actors first before they can be re-cast. That requirement has delayed Disney's plans to put X-Men characters into the MCU so far, but I believe with the exception of Deadpool, Xavier, and Wolverine, those contracts have also now expired. Re: Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver ... these characters were oddballs in the deals, since the characters appear in the comics in both the X-Men and Avengers circles regularly. (In the comics, they are both the children of Magneto.) Because of this duality in the comics, the MCU was able to use them even though the X-Men (before the Fox/Disney merger) used Quicksilver as well in a couple of the X-Men movies. It's all a bit of a mess of legal rights, but at this point, everything except Spiderman, Venom, and a few of the Spiderman villains have reverted back to full control by Marvel/Disney. So far, the Spiderman deal has worked out really well for both Sony and Disney, so I don't expect that to change in the near future (even though Sony had a major bomb with the Morbius movie).
so mysterio is one of spiderman's villains in the comics he casts illusions like holograms with tech but the mcu always puts a spin on everything so he is kinda different. you and spiderman were breaking equipment lol

Hexagons = space
That is so funny. Especially since it's kind of true in these movies.
omggggg i know bc if you see a triangle it’s a scam!
I keep watching your videos having fun watching you guys and bro its ok if you're a Jake Gyllenhal fan nobody is gonna judge you 😅
My favorite Jake Gyllenhaal movies are Prince of Persia and Bubble Boy.
Do not and I repeat DO NOT WATCH THE THIRD SPIDER-MAN MOVIE IF YOU HAVENT SEEN ALL THE OTHER SPIDER-MAN MOVIES!!!!!!!
going to watch them no worries we only have 4 more or something like that lol
29:34 " Famous Last words " i like it.... thats movie was so funny....😅🤣
_"What is that shirt? It's like a math problem?"_ 🤣 Gurl I luv you, I straight up spit my drink out!
😂😂😂😂
"So they just pay tribute to him because he saved the universe?' 'Yeah." made me smile.
In the 60's cartoons I grew up with, Mysterio was a favorite Spiderman villain of mine. Like most cartoons back then - the plot was foiled and the villain was stopped to either get away or be imprisoned. We didn't kill them so they returned without wasted exposition. I Digress - Mysterio was also mysterious - this movie pulled back the curtains to reveal the Wizard of OZ. :)
I'm guessing this was the start of Tony Stark's proprietary software and technology beginning to leak into the world.
My favorite Jake Gyllenhaal movie is, The day after tomorrow and Prince of Persia, The Covenant
It's great to see such a big Jake Gyllenhall fan appreciate this movie!
Write ✍️ it down for me 😂
Y'all didn't have it in this cut but you can actually see Beck before the water elemental attack in the background spying on Peter before he sets off his play.
yeah i didn’t even notice that until it was pointed out!
''Isnt Prague like Sokovia'' Goddamnit those Americans and they geography hahahaah :D
No, Sokovia is fictional Marvel Comics place, Prague is capital city of Czech.
my bad
54:15 Damn, Mr. October 😂😂 Showing off your superpowers!
Gyllenhaal: Nightcrawler, Zodiac. Oh, and Zodiac also has Iron Man and Hulk 😊
omg zodiac is one we def need to see, i guess i haven’t bc isn’t that murder still unsolved?
@@TheOctobersReact i think it is still up to debate
Welcome to the multiverse Mr. and Mrs. October. **rubs hands together**
Sad Fact: This is the first MCU movie "without" a Stan Lee cameo.
Hope you guys are doing well.
Have a good day! I can't wait for the next Spiderman reaction. 🙂
Ol’ broke back Jake😂😂
40:49 Nah the Destruction happened 😅 Mysterio wants to destroy the city, so that he can come to its rescue when people need him to the most 😂😂 thats his whole plan 😅😢
Hi Guys!! Looking forward to a roller coaster ride with yall on the rest of this MCU Journey. Its gonna be a riot.
And nowadays... they'll believe anything." Mysterio Is The Truth!
b*txch please you went to space lol!
ello govna a cup of tea for you!
Another great reaction. Luv ya 3,000. ✌️
You're the best!
Favorite Gyllenhaal movie would be SouthPaw for me
Also, love the new house/background!! But it is throwin me off yall switched sides lol!!
😂😂😂 you’re not the first to say that!
My recommendations to cap off this year:
Black Widow 2020 (the official kickstarter to phase four)
Hawkeye (Black Widow is the only phase four content you need before going into this show)
The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (I think you’re gonna enjoy this one.)
My favorite part of this film was Happy's heart to heart with Peter.
Such an incredible movie!✊🏻 Great reaction you guys. 👏🏻
Thanks so much!!
It's an illusion with the visuals but destruction also happens when the drones give off a shock wave or fire bullets rapidly .... 100s at once
R.I.P. lamp lol
😂😂😂😂
Nailed it on the head. It is teasing a fake event using Project Bluebeam (Blue Beam?) projections. Im glad someone noticed that.
Good news is the next Spider-Man movie no way home is an all time great, the best by far and sadly after no way home is where it all goes south so be sure to enjoy no way home since it is the end of the blockbusters
I can't wait to see you guys in your next video
My favorite jake gyllenhal movie is called “source code”. It’s actually pretty awesome, definitely recommend!
I'll check it out!
Feige has explicitly said they won't be bringing back Tony.
Gyllenhaal's best flick... Donnie Darko!!!
Btw, this is about the point in the MCU u need to visit older Marvel movies before the MCU existed...
Spiderman movies, both the McQuire & Garfield versions (def mandatory viewing to watch before the next Spiderman movie)
X-Men movies before u watch Wanda-Vision...
The Daredevil TV show before u watch
Hawkeye & She-Hulk
theres even Agents of Shield which is the Agent Coulson spinoff that u may want to watch later on, its a very long series that is MCU canon but its not essential viewing to keep following the MCU...
Agent Carter was a fun lil short TV spinoff for Peggy but also not essential viewing, pretty good tho...
I told them to watch X-Men before Wanda vision and daredevil before no way home 🏡
@@asiaroberson3442 *gotta watch Daredevil before Hawkeye & the Mcgwire, Garfield Spiderman movies before No Way Home
yes that’s the plan but don’t we gotta finish the spider-man ones first
@@TheOctobersReact *nah, gotta watch the old Toby Mcgwire & Andrew Garfield Spiderman's before u watch the MCU's No Way Home Spiderman or it won't make any sense...
Spider-Man (2002)
Spider-Man 2 (2004)
Spider-Man 3 (2007)
The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)
Gotta watch all those before the MCU
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) or else it won't make any sense, Marvel retconned all the previous Spider-Man films & connected it all to the MCU...
24:51 "Snake Gyllenhaal"... Any Family Guy fans remember Stewie says "Snake Griffin" and hisses with his tongue out? 😂😜
YESSSSSSS!!! Love this movie!!! I know yall enjoyed this one!!! ✌🏾💜
Botharebegoodamazingmovietomandzendaya❤🎉😊
My favorite Jake Gyllenhaal movie is "Donnie Darko" but "Prisoners" is definitely a masterpiece, it stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman.
Jake movie- Source Code
WOW!! Project Bluebeam reference for the win!! :-)
This was just a fun movie.
Let's goooo! Welcome to fase 5 the road to the multiverse saga🎉🎉
Me encanta sus reacciones,❤️ saludos desde Venezuela 🇻🇪✨

Day after tomorrow was a nostalgic movie
So Mr O is the president of the Jake Gyllenhaal fan club??? Who knew ? 😜🤣😜🤣🤪
Remember, guys, that Mysterio is part of the super villain group The Sinister 6 in the Spiderman comics.
The head Avenger should be The Wasp. She’s got the guts, brains and it’s comic book relevant. Hawkeye could but he doesn’t want to.
so mysterio is one of spiderman's villains in the comics he casts illusions like holograms with tech but the mcu always puts a spin on everything so he is kinda different. you and spiderman were breaking equipment lol
55:38 Hulk cameos in your studio....RIP lamp
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
