    So, If I have clay directly below the topsoil, then technically I don't have a water table since there is no unconfined aquifer under me? one of these days i'll find out just how much clay I have and whether there is any sand layer between the clay and sandstone and how far until the sandstone bedrock. If there's anything above the bedrock, I have a feeling it might be just on top of bedrock since a mile away the bedrock is exposed along a river valley and I recon it's exposed 12-20 feet below the elevation I'm at.

    one of the biggest dangers for our groundwater is nowadays the intensive use of geothermal heating, temperature alterations influence the water quality also can the groundwater level sink through the many holes
