Thanks Leo. When I watch these latest releases I find myself picturing the 7 year old little girl on NGT with the missing teeth, crazy hair, and bare feet. Fast forward 8 years and she has become exactly who she said she wanted to be - a superstar singing for the world. And even though she’s been doing this for awhile already, she’s still in the earliest stages of her career. She’ll continue to evolve as an artist as she matures, and I’m so looking forward to seeing her journey unfold before us. It’s been incredible to witness so far, and also heartwarming and inspiring to see such a humble and generous soul have her dream become reality.
I don't know if it's her "being serious" so much as finding that peaceful place from where she's always sung.

This is a fantastic journey into the sweet vocal world of this magical little girl, it is hallucinating and incomparable, I could listen to her even if she wasn't singing and was just vocalizing and humming all the time. Angelina is doing it again. After hearing it for the first time, I was overwhelmed and confused. I didn't know the original song, so I made up for that. Angelina covers the extremely difficult Oscar-winning song by two of the greatest female voices in music history and, with her Angelina's spirit, turns it into something spectacularly new and more than does justice to the original. perfect is an understatement here. The only critical point, Angelina's performance is too short, *as always* . ✌😎✌💯 *AJ* 💯🎙

Angelina knows what she's doing all the time.... she's always truth to herself whatever the circumstsnces really need .perhaps she's a kind of person whois focus of what she's doing even in her childhood stage... as what i noticed in her. I have heard fifty times now and every times it is new. What a soulful song. Only AJ can do this in the world of music.
With Angelina, always expect the unexpected! She becomes the song, she is the music, she tells a story so sincerely. With this gentle flowing style she draws us in to listen. As to considering her a piece of sculpture, I think you can't restrain her into a fixed style, she has so much scope to portray songs more widely. A work of art? Well yes, a living breathing work of art, she will always be able to surprise us with the vocal pictures that she produces - not confined by genre, always outside the box...

Leo, to me the beginning reminded me a little of the first time I heard her sing Bohemian Rhapsody.
Angelina is very pretty and the dark shadows are accompanying all her video's coming out of Republic and I wondered why. But, I came up with the following ideas. One, the lighting is keeping with the mood of a particular song and that's understandable. But, my other thought is more intriguing. Let's face it, Angelina is still very much a mystery to all of us and keeping her involved with the shadows is a way to present her in a mysterious way and I like the idea.

Thank you for your reaction. I am glad that you mention the two Angelinas. I would also like to say something about it but some of the fans get a bit nasty . I think a lot of reactors to Angelina stop doing reactions to her because of some of the fans remarks to them.
What I love about Angelina's choices of songs is that, if you consult her playlist, you will notice that there is a sequence of songs between the ones that has "love" (defined loosely) as a theme and others that are more diverse in their inspirational ideas.
She gave us recently Million Miles, All I ask, 7th Heaven, Heal The World, and, now, When You Believe.
The first one is about the pain and suffering of loneliness, the second, the pain and suffering of love lost, but then, hope and encouragement, while the last two underline the importance of enduring faith in our belief system to produce in our lives a better place, a solid ground for blessings, winning mind settings and an abundance of daily miracles and victories.
These songs could be defined, generally of course, as help, support and motivational songs, would you agree?
Now, look at Angelina's originals: we can easily discern patterns related to philosophy of love (What is Life), of high morals (Shield) and of magic poetry of our roots (Oslo)?
These patterns would suggest, in my opinion, the existence of a template lying deep within her spirit that could reveal in their sequences and series what kinds of songs we will enjoy soon in Angelina sequential acts of creation.
While it is difficult for me to see in other vocalists the occurrence of systematic recurrences of particular themes, it becomes more and more apparent in Angelina's repertoire that the fabric and color of her spirit leads her soul (that is her mind, her emotions, her intuition and her will) towards, first, personal survival through love, joy and peace at all costs, and, second, personal growth.
In other words, Angelina is a very deep young vocal artist who dares to always be faithful to her purpose and to herself, and to make every cover her own by the attractive magnet of her spiritual artistic versatility.
May I predict her next song? It will be about the magic of love. (Just kidding.)
Just kidding? It might be the age for her to experiance the Magic of love.. 😉 But ofcourse she already has a lot of songs to use for any such situations.. 😊

I really hope that Republic aren't chipping away at Angelina. I'd like to think that Angelina is chipping away at Angelina to perfect what she wants to be. That Mona Lisa smile that we love so much tells me that she's happy in what she's doing. This is also the first thing that i've seen from Republic so far in the promotion of Angelina, unless I've missed something. Maybe it's the start of something beautiful to come.
