- Hello viewers, Welcome to GIS and RS Solution UA-cam channel. Hope you all are doing great. In this video, you will learn how you can represent a small or large number of data as a spatial distribution map in GIS. For instance, You will get to learn as follows;
Sampling locations of sediment collection from a River
Extracting river boundary from where samples collected
Preparation of laboratory data in Excel sheet for GIS input
Conversion of kmz file of sampling points and river boundary into shapefile in GIS
And finally how to show specific parameters as a spatial distribution map based on sampling locations and river boundary.
Data used in this video: drive.google.c...
Hope this tutorial will help you.
Great lesson, thanks for sharing this knowledge
You are welcome 😊
❤ perfect. It helps me a lot
Thank you for the lesson. Could I change the performance column map instead of color map?

Hello
I will work on a river in Turkey, but the length of the river is 60 km and the width of the river is 150 meters. While doing the analysis, I get a bad image in terms of pixels. Is there a setting I should make for this?
Is it necessary to have latitudes and longitude for excell data
Can i make like this for estuary and ocean?
Thankyou for this video! however, apologies for my lack of knowledge but when I joined the attribute, it showed that I successfully joined it, but when I tried to IDW, there is no Z value of the Names 🥲, is there something I could do to fix it.
