Hey there! Liked your videos! As someone who lives here, I’d like to point out the SBB EasyRide feature. You just swipe right before entering public transport and swipe left once you’ve arrived at your destination. It tracks your GPS and tries to book the best option (which can be combined with the Half-Fare option). I often just turn it on in the morning and then leave it on for the whole day until I am back home. Also, some places accept Euros, usually at a poor exchange rate. It’s a good idea to ask first though.

I cannot imagine a vacation scenario in which a car would be required in Switzerland. The major cities are connected by train?? The little cities are connected by train and all the villages by efficient, frequent bus service. BTW, we Swiss love cash.
This is great reinforcement to not rent a car. We Americans tend to default to driving since we don't have the phenomenal public transportation network that you have in Europe. Thanks for your comment!
