as a lowly gc1 whos been told "you have no brain" countless times, these videos are a godsends because your able get a crazy amount of information just in a 10 second play. Its crazy how good your awareness can get if you try to actively take in everything going on.

Yeah, fr. I had always thought of the power of the replay analysis but didn't know quite how to do it at first, but then I had someone really good do one of mine once and now I'm able to do it well. I accept that I might not find the 100% perfect solution every time, but I know for sure i will come with something better than what I did in the game in the moment haha

About the comment on pros with 0s reaction time, I think that also, people are addressing that when analysing replays, everyone speaks as if you expect the player to see what you see in that moment. I've had this happen when i had my replay analysed. I felt helpless because what was pointed out was something i felt like i had no chance of seeing in the moment.
But i realised quickly that just being aware of it after one analysis, i could gain some sort of recognition for such situations in the future. So it's not so much reacting in the second it happens, but more so recognizing the situation and predicting what it'll lead to.
So i think a lot of the frustration with replay analysis is the wording used. We tend to speak about what the player could have or should have done. The listeners tend to take it as that you're just pointing out mistakes and finding faults, and not as what they can do the next time they're in that situation.
Anyways, nice video again, monkey moon is one hell of a good player, and by analysing his replay, we learn a ton!!

well said! i try my hardest to explain how players can recognize situations and predict what will happen within them but sometimes wording can fall short. thanks for the comment and stopping by
