My husband and I just got the Neo Vista 1 and LOVE them!! Looking forward to learning more about these shoes as they become available. (We've always worn Saucony and Hoka)
@@its_Matt_B_ I started running more this year and started with Mizuno, haven't tried any other brand yet, but Neo Vista is really fun but also comfortable and nice shoe also if you want some longer runs in easy or slightly faster tempos, even with some running uphill and downhill on tarmac. I have them in rotation with Rider 27, and 2 days ago I was surprised how comfy and resting they were on my feet compared to daily trainer Riders 27. Riders are more traditional shoe, with more stability and lower on ground also thanks to wave plate, but it is less comfy on tired feet, also maybe 12 mm drop can be felt too on longer runs on tarmac. More stable in corners and suitable also on light gravel or light dry forest trail, but on easy and longer runs, Neo Vistas are more comfy. It is funny how these two shoes from same manufacturer can feel that different 🙂
Great stuff Matt! That's a fun way to generate more interest in their shoes and it sounds like they've been very busy in the chemistry lab. It's been a good year for Mizuno.

Looks to me like Neo Vista 2 (shoe 2. maybe), sort of Rider 29 (shoe 3.) and something like Sky 9 or Horizon 8 or Skyrise 6? (shoe 4.). Shoe no. 1 is probably some new model of soft cushioned more easy runs trainer based on Neo Vista, like they said. I thought maybe it can be Neo Vista 2, it may be, although upper is mesh and lighter and for Neo Vista 2 January is probably too soon for new model generation. But since Neo Vistas are so popular and harder to get now, who knows....maybe 2nd generation will have different upper material, as current Neo Vistast are a bit warmer for running in hot weather. We will see and be surprised. I think I like that Mizuno is making few more models based on Neo Vistas, and if they will get a bit more stable (or slightly lower) but still with some fun and soft bounce, it will be a great model.

Mystery Shoe 01 looks really interesting but I am wary of the outsole. It looks like the Neo Vista's. The outsole on my Neo Vistas are looking pretty thin in the hard wear areas (toe off, for me) at 200 miles. The Neo Vista is fun to run in but I want my shoes to go 600+ and I don't know if they will get to 400. I'm not particularly hard on my shoes.
@@kuriosites Yeah, the softer rubber compound on the Neo Vista’s outsole means it’s going to wear down quick. 600+ is a big ask for any shoe designed for any kind of performance. I’d only expect that kind of volume out of my Brooks daily trainers.
Anxiously awaiting for the release of Mizuno Mystery Shoe 007 with firing missiles from the mid-sole. I appreciate inovation and technology but this is ridiculous. Its when the marketing instagram and tiktok manager takes the lead over everyone else. The good thing is that suddenly every other manufacturer looks sensible and logical.

So, a Mizuno shoe rotation would be: Mystery Shoe #1, Mystery Shoe #2, Mystery Shoe #3, and Mystery Shoe #4. All look identical. That would be very confusing to the runner to have four shoes all named "Mystery Shoe". Does Mizuni plan to put the numbers on the shoes so that the runner knows which shoe to lace up for the prescribed workout?

@@its_Matt_B_Brooks are definitely tanks. I'm 130 lbs. so I have higher mileage expectations. Deviate Nitro 2 is over 650 and still going.
