I feel this is the time of year where we all reflect on how this years garden went and set goals for next year. It's special and unique in its own way :)
Welcome back Ashley! Hope you have recovered well. Glad you both got some alone time on the land. Sometimes it is needed. I love the tromboncino! I think I need to give it a whirl in my garden next year. Its just so fun lol there have been so many wins and learning moments from your garden this year. I expect next year to be even more amazing!
I just planted a Passion flower vine in a 2’x2’ raised bed up against our metal arbor and it’s doing great. On the other side of the arbor I planted jasmine. I’m looking forward to lots of blooms from both next year. Wish I could post a photo here in the comments.
Hi Ashley, can you tarp that overgrown weed area? That might knock down the weeds before you get it ready for spring! Your garden still looks beautiful! I am only just now getting flowers on my dahlias! Hoping to see them all bloom before the first frost! I have a lot of seed heads from sunflowers and and amaranth to harvest for the birds! I definitely would like to try some ginger this winter for spring planting! Are you planning to landscape around the house? Maybe the rose will work out on the sunny side of your house? 🌺❤️😊
I don't know the ages of your kids yet. But I would drag my own to help me out in the garden. It is more enjoyable even if they don't do things right and you have to fix them.

It definitely is!

Thank you! I’m doing much better! And YES you definitely should try it!
Glad you both got to get away for a few minutes and spend some time together even though it was sort of a work day at the farm
Me too 🥰
I think the eggplant loves your soil.
I think you’re right!

That’s a great idea for the rose! Yes!! I’m planning to tarp the in ground spaces for sure. And maybe use weed mat on the walkways.

3 and 1, not as helpful haha
I don't know how old your asparagus is but it's usually don't start making real good until about 3 years
These were two year crowns and out in earlier this spring!
