Jarvis is so witty...love him! Chris and Weeeel (Will) used to come into the pub I worked at. He had a thing for blondes, and he tried to chat me and my co-worker up. Nice chap though.
I half wish Jarv had done the interview the way he had originally planned. I think he was right about how TFI Friday had started off brilliant and then turned into a show just for Chris Evans and his ego. (At the time I'm not saying anything about Chris Evans now)
The problem with TFI was, if you can see through rose tinted spectacles, it became very jaded and stale over the last two years. There will still some excellent interviews but it had a very long, drawn out death which left it hacking and spluttering on the ground, killing off any chance of a comeback. Take OFI Sunday. How bad was that?
Chris Evans is still doing this, but it's just in the mornings on radio 2. Maybe not as anarchic but it's still as rock and roll as most radio and tv gets nowadays.
@be1here1now Forget it, there wont be one! The 90s were great times, good music, the last of the good music, I love 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s music, I saw loads of bands in the 90s but when the year 2000 came i lost intrest in new music even though i was only 26...27, is that sad?
MOONSTOMP, its not fuckin sad mate ur spot on, music is shit now days, all r&b bollox, the 80s an 90s had tony wilson, the kids of today have simon cowall, i rest my case!
Ok interview. Lame how that host tried to make say words, because he liked his voice, while Jarvis was telling his story. So little time to interview and he wants Jarvis to do nonsensical things.
"It's a lot safer than doing it the real way" HAHAHA he ought to know
Look up "jarvis cocker on the wheelchair incident"
Classic stuff! What a great time the 90's were.

How had he originally planned it?
He was going to get advantage of Evans's startled reaction or something along those lines but didn't want to come off as a problematic jerk
he's the best.
