I lost my Mum during COVID and was not allowed to see her when she passed. The funeral was a joke as in Blackburn at the time it was in special measures. We arranged the funeral (I live in Cumbria) with my Sister (who was the only person allowed to see her when she passed). We were allowed 25 to the funeral and they changed it 3 days later to only allow 20 . Because we didn't have a local Coroner available in Blackburn her body was transfered to Lancaster. It took 4 weeks before they released her body !!.At the Crematorium we had to wear masks and no singing plus we could not leave the flowers at the Creaatorium. I had to clear her flat and because of limited refuge availabilty in Blackburn due to Covid measures I had to take most of her stuff back to Cumbria !!. This guy needs stringing up frankly . He's not human !!.

Susanna was fantastic in this interview, like the Boris interview, when she’s allowed to take the gloves off and be an actual journalist - essentially anytime she’s in control and not expected to just sit and smile next to an idiotic male cohost - she takes no prisoners and doesn’t let them try and BS their way out of an answer. Sadly she’s not allowed to do this enough and it’s only because they’d probably end up with no guests because politicians hate being held to account.

I had a zoom meeting this week with my financial advisor (it's a mandatory thing he must do as his co. manage on of my pensions). He told me that one of his clients is an entrepreneur that owns a factory and is really quick to seize opportunities and make stuff to suit whatever requirements come to the fore. At the time of Covid, he developed a face visor which he tried to sell into the NHS at £5 each. He was rebuffed every step of the way. He eventually realised that paying a £50K fee for a ticket to a private dinner attended by Boris Johnson might help. Indeed it did and all of a sudden, contracts were thrust under his nose to supply the NHS. He ended up selling his visor at £20 per pop instead of the £5 he was seeking. My financial advisor's take on all this was that the NHS procurement department are useless at their job. I think I need a less naïve financial advisor.
