John Singer Sargent exhibit Tate Britain

I'm a huge fan of John Singer Sargent, an American painter born in Italy who was the ultimate society painter of the Gilded Age. He also painted murals for the Boston Public Library and some of his paintings are in Boston Museum of Fine Arts. A gay man, he flourished professionally and was also an accomplished pianist who played duets with some of his female clients.
