@@davidhodges1053 Roy's forward smash was reactionary, if you watch again he dashes back but only does the attack once he sees the roll come out. If he did getup attack, assuming Roy doesn't mess it up, he could just run over and do a forward smash before he could fully recover from getup attack

You pretty much have to be Best Friends at that point.
Linus & Lucy (Hawk) are twins which is just part of why they’re so ridiculously in sync with their combos and why they’re probably the best doubles team.
Unless you just have atrocious timing, it really isn't that hard. Hell me and my random partners on online doubles would get some pretty nasty conversions off eachothers hits.
A lot of double combos, like pretty much all the ones seen I this video, aren't technically precise, at all. They're mostly just cheesy hit stun abuse, so you can execute a lot of them on the fly just off reaction.

What I love about playing doubles is when teammates are in complete sync.
Also known as in "the zone."
Few players I can think of can play with such insane skill and maintain that drive without missing a beat.

I actually get into situations where I'm fighting a Link as Young Link or Toon Link. Sometimes I even get put on a team with one of the three links. I actually got put on a team with Dark Young Link as normal Young Link.
My friend and I used to do the double Sora one with Bowser in Smash 4 all day.
I find it beautiful that in such an fast paced game like smash people are able to make coordinated plays
