Thank you for uploading this piece, it's beautiful! I must say I am concerned by your username though--I hope everything is alright. I noticed you haven't uploaded anything in several years. Someone is "barking" down here in a coment....Your placement is correct, the oppening of you jaw is correct, nothing in the tune shows efford ,maybe yes, maybe a little not....The only thing that matters,is the beauty of the sound coming for that sweet young lady ...Musicality and vital energy..Lovely indeed
Hello I just saw your username and wanted to say if you ever feel at the end of your rope there is always hope and there are always resources for help that you can find on google depending on your country. Never give up hope
Well, she could work a little better on her French, but I'm agreeably surprised! She's no Callas, but that's one of the best versions I've heard from someone alive!
OMG! What a lovely talent and gorgeous instrument. But way too much and too soon for someone lacking a solid vocal technique. Less barking and more legato would be the first thing in order here. And whether you can hear the "wobble" or not... it's there! Maybe in an enfant stage, but it's there and is a direct result of her hammering of her voice and the her forward, nasal placement. Listen to the scales at 1:08 and 1:40 and 2:49. Ouch! I wish her well and pray she finds her way.
There has been much hype about this young lady and as I now listen I hear SUCH promise in her voice, but she doesn't deliver on it! The timbre is beautiful and she seems to have a secure technique, yet her top note had a marked wobble in it and she is here only 25, what will it sound like in 2, or 5 years time? Then I listened to her Traviata and the wobble has become more pronounced, but not only on high forté notes, but also on piano notes and the legato line is disappearing too. A HUGE pity. I hope someone can rescue her before she disappears like Elena Souliotis did.
There is definitely wobble, her the control isn't quite like what you can get with say, a Sutherland, and her enunciation isn't the best, but goddamned if she isn't fun to watch on stage :P
+Andre de Kock: That's no wobble. This singer is technically secure, and singing well within her limits. She could easily graduate to more lyric parts and eventually Souliotis/Sass/Callas/Ricciarelli herself out of existence. I don't see her doing that. Your comments are so typical of back-seat UA-cam critics; totally justify your name. You go out there and sing it.
shes just this side of screamy to my ear especailly towards the final phrases... i think her voice isnt exactly what i look for a soprano in this aria...her tones a bit too strident and doesnt quite have the warmth of tone that i look for in this aria... still she has a great voice and i would lvoe to hear her in more appropriate rep for her voice!

Frescura, musicalidad, afinación y delicadeza para cantar; con esta Julieta me caso!
helo
She sang well… back then.
Really hard to judge a voice from a youtube video. Recordings can lose so much of the singers color and tone :(
---- me falto BRAVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!
Rara avis
C'est une Carmen, pas Juliette.

Philip Kim it's a pity she's wearing such a skirt - makes her look fat
I am happy I know nothing of music - I can't notice that wobble, however noticeable it may be

Thanks for your tuppence worth of opinion on my typical back seat UA-cam critique Eric Zamir-Zimmerman.

Saw her live. In the hall her voice sounds very uneven
Every note here forced... The role just seems uncomfortable in the voice.
