it was always the season of gimmickry, and you can only stretch the gimmick so far.
esp with each phase having less effort put into it than the last. Oh and that the developers don't play their game either.

TBH they simply didn't have the resources given to the team for them to provide what people wanted, New dungeons, forgotten zones, scarlet raid etc. They hinted at this with Karazan crypts so people thought they would do more. But all they have done is added one big crafting questline and some rune quests and left it at that. If they wanted they could have made it brilliant but they simply left it at okay.
and? people are so dramatic, it is a temporary, gimmicky and fun mode which eventually rotates out. what did people expect?
I am really Happy there is nothing to do in sod. Summertime, maybe leveling one Cata char. IT s nice.

So about the comment of some runes switching spots and some becoming Baseline do we know where the source of that information came from because I didn't see it in the blue post was it from an interview ? and if so do we know or have any hint of which runes are becoming Baseline ? because I was looking and I didn't see anything about that in the blue post so I was wondering
I got my classic toon forced into tbc and deleted so I’m just using sod for the leveling boasts to get a 60 character to transfer over to era at the end of the season to replace the one that got deleted. Not feeling sod much though.

You realize it was NOT forced. You had the option to change. And you could also pay to have a copy out on era on top of continue to tbc. You are the one that forced your toon to tbc by doing nothing.

iirc, they are not allowing transfers to era after SoD finishes, and instead have been talking about keeping permanent SoD servers. they've said this in a number of interviews and posts now. I could be wrong, but just don't want you to get your hopes up
Just like P3 and incursions. Blizz broke their MoP with the frog pond. And we saw how P3 fell apart after that Blizz screwup.
As always, the only wow killer. Is Blizz itself.
I have high hopes for P4. I knew with Cara around the corner P2/P3 weren’t going to be the best. People often look over the fact that a majority of Wow devs work on retail the Classic team is 10x smaller and they don’t have the resources to be working on two projects at once. With Catas launch out of the way I expect P4 to be alot better and I don’t know if that’s just because the game opens up or much or if it’s going to be due to the content they add. Either way I’ll be waiting a month after P4 launches to see player reaction before spending more time in SoD.

I lost around 40% of my guild already... they are taking breaks and others are playing the other wow-versions.

Even worse when you consider SOD was the star of Blizzcon 2023. Then you hear they took devs off the project to put on Cata and MOP Remix. Seriously incompetent and killed my drive to play any of them. @@Sultschiem

Gonna peek my head in the door for phase 4, I’m using this last season of dragon flight to learn a couple retail classes and get a feel for current wow. War within ret has me fired up more than sod ever did (started playing wow with SoD I have 0 retail xp)

It continues when more content comes, ppl are doing other stuff as they already did all that there is, and i think its smart, maybe do retail and cata also, maybe have one char on all of em max and maybe level all classes to max on retail, not maybe many ppl who played all classes on max level with all specs and can compare em with experience
They should have add a second raid into this patch.... For the dps part....... We were doing the same dps as top speedrunner that made naxx 40 man in 25min....
Something happening in Blizzard this year. No cata prepatch event, cata pre patch hella buggy, people still can get immortal title, invincible at EU. phase 4 for sod is hella delayed. Mop remix is hella buggy to. That is not right.

From reading the forums and videos like these, it’s clear the wow fan base is hyper toxic. The first month of SoD I constantly saw “game is dead, game is dead”. Still the same thing, even in the comment section. It’s like they want the game to die. There was literally a guy who wrote a forum post saying that being able to get multiple world buffs was the reason he quit, and called it one of the worst things he’s ever seen. Really? So many miserable fkn people on every version of this game. Then comes the projection of “get a life”. Seriously, it’s almost laughable if it weren’t so sad. Go outside

@@vaughancherrington-riley7008 and don’t get me wrong, extending the phase because they released other game modes was a very dumb decision and there are definitely some things that need to be worked out, but my point is not about defending SoD, it’s about how room temp and miserable the WoW community has become. You people do this to *everything*. There’s literally a guy on forums who has nothing better to do but post daily SoD user numbers and just absolutely doom. He does it *every* day. That also contributes to killing a game. It’s just very sad behavior and sadly a lot of people in life are like this, but it seems concentrated in this community

Phase 1+2 was a lot of fun both in PVP and PVE..
But damn, phase 3 was kinda bad, too many new abilities introduced and also these daily incursion quests? what the hell.
If they continue in the same path, then I will not be playing in phase 4.
I think incursion is the biggest problem here ,it killed wpvp and gear progressing

Blizzard/microsoft, have already ruined wow seasons, and that's because they themselves never played wow classic 2005/2006. The developers, for example, Nora and Josh, put in exp buff, gold buff in vanilla? It ruins the whole game! The players complain that there is nothing to do in SoD? That's because too fast leveling process and too fast gear process! I don't think phase4 will be better? if you have released this bad content in phase 2-3, the risk is probably very high that they will reveal a lot of crap in end gaming content, like quick processes to get the best gear. I'm glad I got to play wow classic in 2005 when Jeff kaplan was the lead desinger! he had never allowed SoD stupid systems in wow classic.

I dont think raid logs is a good indicator as to how warriors are doing overall, yeah we are able to pump hard but it's only for a short time and with extremely specific conditions like party comp, gear, buffs, and cooldowns. But go do bloodmoon and try to tell me that warrior is op... we're pretty strong but compared to some other classes we are not at all "overpowered" so I really hope we don't get nerfed because I feel like we are in a good spot when it comes to wpvp and pve. Shamans, shadow priests, hunters, maybe warlocks... now those could be called overpowered imo

@@SpkillerGaming yeah I'm on a pvp server and I'm always roaming around solo, sometimes I win the 1v1s but not as often or as easily as the classes i mentioned. Just saying that warr isn't op in pvp(unless we have a couple of healers) and nerfing us based on raid damage will just hurt the class and make it feel pretty bad. It's gonna be crazy tho once everyone is at level 60 with end game bis raid gear and tier sets

Tbh this one hit kinda personally. I started playing in early p2 casually, my gf and I broke up in earlyish march. Then I started playing more and more to try and get over it and distract myself now that things are dying down, I’m forced to just deal with things. And boy howdy, feels bad man

them holding back on SoD P4 is very bad. It means it's so undown even bliz won't put it out. They had to put out the MoP thing even tho it was not done at all just to get time to fix whatever the hell is wrong with SoD. Knowing Bliz everyone is going to be crying hard when P4 drops and it's a buggy ass mess more than normal. Dealing with Bliz is like waking up each morning to be hit in the mouth then the guy sells you a bag of ice and after you pay he dumps the ice out says it's coming later then leaves and says see you tomorrow.
