Lawrence A. Frohman, M.D., Professor Emeritus of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism & Diabetes at the University of Illinois at Chicago, presented the 2014 Beverly Todd Towery Lecture, "Acromegaly Diagnosis and Therapy: Past, Present, and Future" at University of Louisville Department of Medicine Grand Rounds on March 27, 2014.
The talk focused on outlining the pathophysiology of acromegaly, describing the improvements in the major categories of therapy of acromegaly, and providing an overview of potential new therapies currently under development.
