Whats funny is, this flick was trying to land a post-horror kitsch score at the schlockx-office and it ended up being the blueprint for Chainsaw Massacre and every horror flick after....Sid Haig the ultimate gimp. Pulp Fiction, Eraserhead, Blue Velvet, Satan's Rejects....this film inspired the classics from the next gen of A and B list directors.
Sort of a link between old school horror and more modern horror. Lon Chaney Jr the old school wolfman Sid Haig went on to become famous for playing a psycho killer in y2k horror. I also wonder if this inspired Texas Chainsaw with the crazy cannibal family in a forgotten house
and it rates an 11 out of 10
Clever and original! Thank you 😊

Beverly Washburn. What a looker!
Mantan Moreland!
A swan song, embedding this film on so many levels as a classic blueprint.

Cool ideas!
All of the 80s-00s classic drama/horror classics used this film as a collective framework. Hills with eyes.
