The activity of Children Beauty Pageants should be banned immediately. Parents take this waaaaaayyyyy too far. I mean, these girls are too immature to be mature, and the bullying makes them have the toxic damn behavior. They have these unnecessary beauty rituals and all those dirty and disgusting stuff. They should all be themselves in a appropriate way. The parents are just way to shovy. I feel sorry for those people who judge looks than the inside.
It's not a so much a matter of all parents doing it but the fact that it's allowed to happen with a lot of the finalists... They should really implement rules to disqualify kids that get cosmetic surgery, use unhealthy amounts of hairspray, and remove the high heels that are damaging to the kids feet(if all, then just stop using them at all) at least to discourage these kinds of behaviors the same way in sports/martial arts drugs get people disqualified...

My daughter asked me to do a pageant and I said why do you want to do one. She replied saying I want to be a model. I let her do one and she fell in love with it. I learned not to do these things to her but I will make sure she looks really nice. In my opinion what these parents do that’s just crazy. I think if your child wants to do a pageant let her but don’t take it this far

I've been on this before in my childhood , though my skin was already tan and my mom did me 'natural beauty pageants' so luckily I didn't did half of this. I wasn't on Toddlers in Tiaras but I was in other beauty pageants, they weren't recorded though.
This is not always true. There is usually pageant options called natural where you don't really wear that much makeup and you don't wear big poofy sparkely dresses or wear fake hair. I do pageants and I go natural I I don't go through any of this. So just know that not all patents are bad.

If I ever become a mom, I will always make sure my children are happy, disciplined and respected. If they want to be in a pageant, then they can be in a pageant, but i'll never get cought up in the game.
I think the best way you could ever go into a pageant is when you were walking on stage wearing sweatpants a baggy t-shirt and a hairdo that is so frizzy it is messy just to prove a point

I've been on this before in my childhood , though my skin was already tan and my mom did me 'natural beauty pageants' so luckily I didn't did half of this. I wasn't on Toddlers in Tiaras but I was in other beauty pageants, they weren't recorded though.

I only get hairspray on picture day, at a wedding and important occasions
This is not always true. There is usually pageant options called natural where you don't really wear that much makeup and you don't wear big poofy sparkely dresses or wear fake hair. I do pageants and I go natural I I don't go through any of this. So just know that not all patents are bad.

If my kid were ever going to be in beauty pagents my rules would be
1. No makeup, natural beauty is key.
2. Be accepting, don't get upset when you don't win we all go at our own pace.
3. No harmful treatments, hairspray,bleaching teeth, tanning, ect. Again natural beauty is the best kind.
4. Have fun. I won't make the kid do anything they don't want to...
5. They tell me they don't like pagents and they'll never see another one again...
That is what pagent parents SHOULD do. Instead of harming the kids and teaching bad habits! It's wrong, and if I do become a pagent parent I'll never let my kid get hurt or go through harsh treatments...

If I ran a beauty pageant I would ban botox, hairspray, and heels. I'd also put cameras up so if I saw any bullying the bullies would be disqualified.
