The best way not to have to declutter constantly is to not buy everything we see. We tend to buy things on impulse then realize it wasn’t needed or really wanted in the first place. Stop wasting money frivolously and buy intentionally.
I totally agree. I think at times we get caught up in the "latest and greatest" trap. I try VERY hard to be very intentional about what I purchase. I honestly don't have a lot of extra decor because I have NO place to store it. I don't need the added stress of trying to figure out where to store things. I'd rather just use the one in one out rule or just not buy it.

I kind of can't wait until the era of influencers is over because it used to be simply following people you enjoyed and related to. And now all it's become is let me buy a bunch of stuff so I can tell you to buy all these things you don't need to make the $ off it. That's all it is, unfortunately every single choice they make is based on how can I profit from this.
If you have the space, I would keep them and give them away as needed like you said. But we actually do use the small containers from time to time. Not as often but enough to keep for sure. You could use them for small craft items too for your daughters craft supplies.
In regards to the little containers - is there a place outside the kitchen where you could use them? Small items in the laundry room, screws, or small pieces in the garage or Chase's area? I use the small containers in my household tool "bucket". I put extra screws, small nails, etc in them. If there's no other place to use them I say let them go. It's only causing you mental stress by worrying if you should keep them or let them go.

When it comes to containers, like you said, they come in handy especially when taking food to family etc. but if it doesn’t have a lid, I just get rid of it. Great job decluttering and awesome that your daughter was able to sell it! It was definitely a win win!! 👍🏼
In regards to your closet, since you do have so many items that look the same, you would benefit from the backwards hanger trick. Turn all your hangers backwards. Then, as you wear an item, turn it forwards. After like 6 months you will see what you wear & what you don't. Then get rid of the items that are still turned backwards.
Small ones are good for food prep and supplements on away days,beach or a events. Also for use in garage as containers for certain screws, cables, nuts, bolts etc. Easy to label. Maybe use for summer bits
Watching you declutter has given me the motivation that I needed. I have so much in three closets and two dressers that needs to be decluttered from both myself and my husband. I'm very anxious to get it done. Thank you Ashley for your motivation. 🥰
Decluttered so much right before Christmas and last weekend, I don’t know how we even had room for everything. Ten years after downsizing and selling a LOT of furniture and home decor, I probably had as much as before we downsized 😬 I give to my daughter, she takes what she wants and shares with others.
Thank you for the video! For containers, I think small portions can fit in a medium or large container too…you’re going to have to wash it regardless, so unless fridge space is limited or trying to fit in a lunch box , you don’t really need small containers.

Just A Thought: I'd keep the small containers... Consider Non kitchen/Food use! Bathroom to organize small loose items: Qtips comes to mind. Also, Travel containers. Sliding Racks can be installed into the Cabinets!
Great motivation for me. I had a hard time getting started & this gave me that prompt. Thank you! Honestly, I don’t keep small containers if I’m not using them regularly. This is a video I need a lot are doing declutter videos and I need to get my butt up to do what I need to do I need to declutter a drawer in my bedroom have so much things in there I need. I say for those Tupperware if you guys not going to use it get rid of it and give it to someone who will use it. Another way to not have to Declutter all the time is just because you’re UA-camr/influencer is showing you some really really neat ideas or products doesn’t mean you have to go buy them all to try them out yourself. That’s why they’re doing it lol.😂😂 I have to say, I wish I was either your neighbor, dance, mom, relative, or our BFF, and lived close enough to you in Oklahoma, that I could rummage through your decluttering and your giveaway stuff that I need😂😂😂 yes I love your Caraway too, but Lord I hope you tell me that they gave that to you as a promotional to sell their products to showcase them because they’re freaking products are expensive. I quit spending that much money years ago on pots and pans and storage bins because I realize that the cheaper ones lasted me just as long and did the job that I needed to have done soand don’t use your Walmart brand that looks almost like Caraway?❤😂❤
The small food storage containers I repurpose elsewhere in my home. I use them for packing small items when traveling...earrings, necklaces, Tylenol, q-tips, bandages, etc. I also use them in beach bags for small items you don't want to lose in the bottom of the bag. I use them to hold items in my car... Tylenol, bandages, extra phone charger, salt packets, sweetner packets, etc. I'm always thinking outside the box how to use something.

Keep those small containers. My husband uses them for putting salad dressing, fruit, etc in his lunches. He uses more of those than the larger sizes.
The best thing to do is not bring it in the house to begin with. Otherwise this will be a never ending reoccurring problem. ❤
