- A supercut of most of the scenes where Anya and Holly J interact with eachother that demonstrate the evolution of their friendship. From down, to up, to rocky, to ultimately a solid friendship. One of the most interesting throughout the Degrassi franchise.
As much as I enjoyed their friendship, Holly J. was out of line for embarrassing Anya for her dyslexia and then throwing her under the bus after she encouraged her to copy her sister’s past assignment in the first place😬😢
This really shows how much they both grew. Holly J became a better person and much nicer. Anya I feel like was still struggling but eventually she found her way too.

If Anya was apart of Spinner-Paige class, I can definitely imagine her being good friends with Terri. Honestly, Anya deserved to have better friends, and that’d be Mia and Darcy
I will say unlike Paige Holly J really evolved the most and turned into a completely different character at the end

The writers ruined Anya. A girl like her wouldn't join the army, she should have been accepted at a university instead or left town with Owen

@@Slytherin1 if she was more butch maybe. Anya was a skinny girlie type girl who would have struggled during the gruelling training. She should have gotten into modeling or gone to university or become a psychologist or something

how could you even do that to someone you call a “friend”? I’m glad Holly j changed and had one of the BEST character developments but I remember getting so angry at Anya for still wanting to be friends after THIS.

They really were besties from the beginning to the end. I love their matching hairstyles too
they were never besties lol. when they were first introduced (s7/8), their whole dynamic consisted of holly j bullying and putting anya down and towards the end of their run on the show fiona was holly j’s best friend. anya was basically there bc they didn’t know what to do with her character after s10
They weren’t besties at the end. They have way less screen time together as the show goes on

Why did Holly J. originally bully Anya before Anya finally called it quits in Ladies' Night? I never understood that. Holly J even told Anya she was her best friend, and without her she "had no friends." So then why did she sabotage that for herself? The closest we ever got to an answer was "because Anya let her." But that doesn't sound like a realistic explanation.

she wanted to assert her dominance so Anya doesn't make other friends I think it was out of fear of losing Anya because she had no other friends.

yes and add Chantay to the group. I’m glad Nina went to The Vampire Diaries instead, Mia was a dry character and Nina showed that she can act in TVD. I think that if Mia stayed on the show, her & Holly J would’ve ended up being friends in seasons 9-11. Holly J became a kinder person then

I don’t know if it’ll be in video or not but one of it not my personally funniest moments in degrassi is that “liberal arts” scene with Ana and that doctor, don’t know if others will agree or not but I found that so funny.

I wasn't really a big fan of season 8 of Degrassi, but all the other seasons before and the season after 8, season 9 was perfect to me. After season 9, I just completely lost all interest in the show for the most part.
Anya literally became an insufferable character after a while. She was very selfish and was really annoying.
