8:18 the far left seems to be the sea monkey 2 from the end of the trailer with that phantom hulk which I hope we get as a reward as we have phantom weapons and pieces of equipment plus the ghost curse so I phantom ship set will be cool
I think it is really cool to see a forest in sot as the only tree environment we really have is palm trees, so this is really different but very very cool. I also love that the black pearl sits in the dock with all its sails tied up, i just think it looks amazing and grand sitting on melee island. Also i would like to add the fact that I am really liking your thumbnails and video style and i want you to keep it up. Even though you are mostly just talking about the trailer or something simple it is really entertaining coming from you. Have a great night, cheers! 👊👊

they gave a clear look at the capstan the cannons and the helm so im possibly thinking we may be able to get our hands on the items possibly

Aye, I also would love to see more clothing options for the skeleton curse that actually look like a skeleton pirate. Kinda like the cursed captains body. Those are probably the only problems I have with cosmetics.

the variety is so beautiful i wish the main map was more like it
I think the ship on the right of the black pearl is the one from the athena's fortune hideout.
Also, I know it would be cool to see jack sparrow interact with the monkey island characters, I think the black pearl is just an Easter egg
I'll be honest, I think imma have to play the original monkey islands games just for this adventure XD
I played Monkey Island when it first came out on the Amiga! I've loved this game ever since. To be able to actually transport to the island!!!,,,,,Wow! Amazing work from SOT. My 2 favourite games in one!! Can it not last forever?? 🤣 Same voices as well!! I'm dying,,,,,i might go sick from work!!!! I cannot wait! Great video Admiral.
Just completed it, its fairly short and pretty simple so far but it was very fun and really well designed! Rare have done amazing with this so far can't wait for more to be released 👏😎

Yeah, I haven't seen almost any comments on them in the official video either. Like, did they just announce that we can buy them??? Idk but I hope so. The capstan is all I have needed to complete the set for the last 2 years now.
One ship was one of the admiral sets
If you look at 2:22 and 2:00 you’ll see some ghost skeletons, obviously LeChuck’s henchmen, but they look like they’re guarding the doors. My theory is that they’re there to stop Guybrush from “escaping” the prison that LeChuck put him in

They put more effort into making a next gen Monkey Island than the official game did. The last release was some lazy flash-game level of crap. I'm downloading Sea of Thieves again just to play through this.

I dont think people were in denial about the ship being the black pearl rather than it just being a referece (and not the secret pirates life 2 hint) , as interesting as it would be to see jack i hope his ship stays as the only reference so it focuses on the Monky Island characters more.
Some people thought it was a replica and not the real black pearl
@@andyralph4666 Even then we still dont know of its the real one or not either, as far as i can tell they said we'd see familair things and considering who we're dealing with and where its parked.. it is more than likely a detailed replica and not the real thing anyway.
Could be wrong of course but given where it is and who we are talking to about it i really just thing its not only just a reference, but just a replica he is trying to sell as the real thing.

Melee island is one of the famous islands in the Monkey Island universe so this our first journey to the universe, we will later travel to the actual monkey island

Wasnt quick swapping just a bug involving animation cancelling? Or am i thinking of the wrong thing?
If so- sure it took skill to get down properly but at the end of the day it was an unintended bug that was eventually going to get fixed.
Even if i think they should of worked on other things first before that as priority.
@@awalkthroughthewoods157 the only reason they did it properly is to make the cheaters and some of the better long time players quit cuz they don't want to use sword
Oh and yes you are talking about animation cancel, tbh if the normal animation worked properly without being all jankey I wouldn't care
I just wish they would make sword work properly if they insist on all of us using it cuz us TDMers despise that click simulator
@@sSteppingStones Thats fair, there is likely many things the devs could alter to actually improve sword play rather than have it "click click" (keep in mind i use sword myself and am saying this) as well as animations but i do know a lot of cheaters did use the duo gun bit alot.
Shame you lost your enjoyment of it by that but i can understand at least.
Love the Islands! the little preview one with the Waterfall is what I have been wanting in the game in a long long TIME! Hope one day if Sea of Thieves does shut down. Some how we can experience all this stuff in Single Player or Local 4 Coop one day!
