This was actually a breath of fresh air. I could relate to so many things in this movie- the friendships, the heartbreak, the realization of how important self love really is. I highly recommend watching this movie with your friends at a sleepover, or even alone if you’re just in the mood to watch a netflix movie in your sweats 🍿💕

This movie made me fall in love with Lakeith( the boyfriend) and I felt the heart break especially when he turned and saw her in the club. I weeped. And I didn't even cry at notebook or other sad romantic movies. But that part got to me for some reason. Maybe it had to do with my own recent breakup and I needed a reason to cry haha.

greatest heartbreak movie ever. i cried my fucking eyes out and i've never even experienced love or heartbreak. the on-screen chemistry between lakeith and gina was amazing too (making it even sadder lol)

I feel like This is one of those movies that reassure that everything is going to be okay
This movie is so relatable if you have ever had to let go of people you thought you loved, but out grew and were holding you back fro reaching your goals. I am ever so grateful I got rid of 2 of the biggest barriers to my process in between the ages of 19 - 21 though it took a long long time to accept it. Life is too short and the world has too much to offer to let deadbeat friends and lovers hold you back.

I can so much relate to this, we are 9 years with my man, I made so many desigions only to be together, I refuse job offers, I made everything to find a job where he found one....till now I am still waiting he to make a compromise for me....and because of this I had a shity work and he has a career....the guys are comfortable to do nothing but stay on the flow (sorry for the english...obviously not my first language).

I can really relate to this movie so bad. Currently I’m in a relationship with someone, we just graduated high school and we both are at different universities and they’re not really close to each other. In the beginning everything was fine, but which every day that passes I feel that we become more distant, we are not in each other’s life’s anymore like we used to be. We are also both different persons with different passions, we are both only 19. We are at this moment where life just begins, we have this whole world in front of us, there are so many things to discover. But we both have different interests and I think that at one point we will grow apart, apart from each other. I realize this, my mind can understand this, but at the same time my heart hurts, because I really love him, but at the same time I know that we will not end up together. We will grow apart, we will have our own life’s, we are not meant to be to walk the same path together. And it’s breaks me now, but maybe after some years have passed I will accept it and I will work on my own story, my own life. I’m still with him now, we both try to make the best out of our time together now. I think some love stories are not meant to be forever like we want it. That’s just how life goes. But in the end it’s important that you have learned something from it and that you don’t regret the choices that you made.
Okay why is this so me,almost the same thing happened w me and we got SO distant,i blame myself and for that mostly,but let me tell you one thing,do what is right for both of you.If you both feel like this isn't working for you and is rather being tiring for you,it would be the best thing to mutually end it on a good note before things get ugly where you both are blaming eachother.But if you have the belief that despite being different kind of people,you can find a common ground WITHOUT giving up eachother's dreams and passions and also keeping it a healthy relationship,then hold on to it.I am no expert but just speaking from my experience that it's better to end things on a good note and stay friends or acquaintances Rather than things getting tiring and bad and ugly and then end up being strangers forever.
