The theme is 【Takehisa Yumeji】
When I was a student, I was fascinated by the cuteness of Yumeji's paintings.
While collecting books and goods, I wanted to embroider Yumeji's paintings, so I tried this time.
I embroidered a picture of a small flower. It was hard to choose because there are so many wonderful designs. ✿
I'm thinking that next time I'd like to try Yumeji's painting of beautiful women!
I made a video from selecting the design to completing the embroidery, so please enjoy it until the end ☻

＝Morning embroidery＝
When I started working as a Japanese embroidery craftsman,
I had the opportunity to see a practice cloth embroidered by old craftsman.
I remember that the detailed and careful embroidery was so beautiful that I couldn't believe it was practice.
After that, I also made embroidery practice a morning routine.
The design is based on "Japanese designs and pictures that have been loved for a long time".
I would be happy if everyone could sympathize with the cuteness of the designs and the excitement of crafts!

무늬가 너무 귀여워요 색상 조합도 너무 사랑스럽습니다. 언어가 미흡해서 영어를 못 읽어서 제대로 못 즐기네요 ㅠㅠ 공부 더해서 제대로 감상해봐야겠어요..

私は手慰み程度にフランス刺繍を楽しんでおります。
何年も前になりますが、思い付きで花びらを刺すのに絹を使いたくなり、釡糸を手にしました。
糸を引き出し、撚りを掛けるだけで往生したのを覚えています。
それ以来絹で刺したくなったら縫い糸を使うようにしました。
日本刺繍の職人さんは本当に尊敬しております。

これは練習ということは、何かの製品(服とか半衿etc)にはなさらないのですか？なんて豪華な練習作品なんでしょう！😆✨
今のところ何かに仕立てる予定はないのですが、生地いっぱいに刺繍できたら額か色紙にするのもいいかなと思っています😊♪

Hello, before painting with shell powder, how did you transfer the design on the fabric? My teacher showed us a shell powder method but I'm too nervous to try it. With shell powder redraw the design on the back of the paper (ie if line drawing is on side A, redraw on side B). We then place the paper on the fabric or stitched are shell powder side down and transfer it by rubbing with our nails.
Hello. When I paint with shell powder, I use a tracing light box. I put the design paper between the tracing light box and the fabric and draw directly on the fabric with shell powder.
I never did your method. There are various ways to do it.

This large needle is called Kotebari. It is mainly used to prepare the surface of the thread, and is an essential item for Japanese embroidery.

最後につけた糊はでんぷん糊です。素材の質感を変えずにほつれ止めができます。その後、使用用途によって裏から接着芯を付けることもあります。

There are several embroidery classes held by workshops in Japan. However, I don't know if there are similar embroidery classes overseas. I think there are books on Japanese embroidery and UA-cam channels that introduce techniques in detail 🙆🏻♀️
