Family crest series starts from this time!
I embroidered the crest of a cute star-shaped flower, "bellflower", which is often seen in this season.
The other day, I bought some bellflower seedlings and watered them every day, so embroidering bellflower flowers has become more fun☺️

When I started working as a Japanese embroidery craftsman,
I had the opportunity to see a practice cloth embroidered by old craftsman.
I remember that the detailed and careful embroidery was so beautiful that I couldn't believe it was practice.
After that, I also made embroidery practice a routine.
The design is based on "Japanese designs and pictures that have been loved for a long time".

As always, your work is exceptional. Could you share how many hours were involved in the piece that you stitched? We see an 11-minute video, but I know that a lot of time went into this flower.
thank you! I made this piece in 3 days. I think it took about 10 hours in total from design to completion.
Wow, that is so pretty! Good job! How would you use this? Would you it out of the practice fabric and use it as an applique? Or would you make it again on the final fabric, like a linen shirt? Very curious as to how to use embroidery as I only ever done cross-stitching :)
