Oh, Barbee, I love this version of the Biltmore & your humorous, quippy remarks, put a smile on my face!! After moving back to Georgia for almost 20 years, we finally made our 1st trip right after you in Dec. 2013. The weather turned out beautifully for the 3 days & 2 nights, we went on 4 tours, I did the High Tea one afternoon (wonderful!!), loved the wine tasting room, met wonderful people from all over, ate great food and enjoyed nightlife along Biltmore Ave. Going back in 1.5 weeks to see the flowers & gardens, take the architectural & motor bus tours, maybe even a horse ride! Will be passholders now for years to come & visit at least 2-3x year. Hope to do the Christmas Tour 2014.
I never had a chance to go there as of yet , but I have friend's and family who have visit The Biltmore Estate and was so amaze at the architecture of the house they take visit's once's every year .... wow I can't wait until I have a chance to explore this lovely home !
HEY GUY'S ; you should have your own TV. channel . You did a very excellent job as a camera operator as a hosts as a location crew and also as program director . WOW
As I child I was taken to the Biltmore Estate by my parents. I remember the steps out there being very low rise, long run and was just hunting for a picture of them. I think the part of your video of the dog at 1:45 is what I was looking for. I recall not having to raise my foot up past normal walking stride to ascend the staircase. Surely constructed purposefully.
+Rick Martin Thanks, Rick. Your kind words are appreciated. Go back when azaleas are in bloom. Thanks also, for not telling me I misspelled Ashville! I've had some rude remarks from some mighty proud residents. Yikes.
Pat, Kevin, QMan, Michael...thank you for your comments and I will take them all to heart! Happy others are enjoying the video I intended to reminisce through myself periodically. Thanks for realizing and enjoying my humor where inputted! I love to laugh and try to put something fun into each video I make. It's what I do! I'm smiling. Wink, wink.
Great compilation. Just a little constructive criticism.. The videographer needs a steady cam or tripod, its a little dizzying to watch the shaky footage. Editing was great in some parts and not so good in others. Just want to suggest for posting a 15 minute video, a story line or story board to follow when creating a piece with so much information. Very well done for non professional work. Thanks for posting, Keep it up!
Great stuff, my friend! You can come join my Red Boots Team, anytime! You have shown us photos of places some of us will never see......thank you! Blessings, ME
