Why the button on the base on the pulley wheel end and why is the underneath wood poorly laminated? Could it be a battery and coil or motor concealed?
It looks like the board is in 2 halves with a fairly clear line of demarcation all around. I've seen models built by others and only worked because of a repeater circuit, coil & battery inside. I want to believe tho.
