I live with my grandparents and my papa just died and today our firetv stopped working. I was desperately trying everything to fix it, very frustrated that my technically inclined papa would’ve known what to do. Deliriously happy to have it working after this video. Can not thank you enough!!!
Last night my lady went to use the tv in the bedroom and the Fire Remote would only turn the Set on and off, I did a work around with the original TV remote after replacing the batteries and trying to re-pair with the Stick. This morning I looked up some how to fix this issue and found you easy to follow and understand video, followed the steps and everything is working well.....The Stick is a newer model with the longer remote but the steps all worked just fine.....Thank you for the video....

I watched two other videos with directions, and they did not help. I tried yours, and it worked! I take it these things are a bit tricky and don't always work the first time. So the other videos might be good information, but my remote just wasn't ready to cooperate. Thank you.!

OMG I tried it a hundred times and FINALLY your video. It worked. Remote is connected. Only problem now is when I click on app's to remove NETFLIX and UA-cam to reinstall (because they keep crashing) it goes black. Any suggestions?
