@@tomeisenmenger6475definitely originally solid wood, rubbish, but, solid wood. Usually linden wood or base wood, very difficult to get an accurate description of the origins of these timbers, I find plane trees and citrus trees coming to the fore. Irrespective, timber is pulped compressed into flat board and used extensively in kitchen cupboards, underside of cutlery drawers is a common use. Also accepts photo images very well, spruce for tops and flame maple for back and sides, apply a little jittery pokery and bindings look very nice also. As guitars are they any good, well, I have two, they require some dedication to achieve a quality tone, but, for the money I’m not complaining and they do look the part.
It's terrible I bought it and returned it a week later it was way to thin for a jazz guitar even though there are plenty of jazz guitars with a floating pickup this one seems to be very tin like and not very round in sound. So pick it up and you'll see for yourself. Ibanez makes great jazz guitars but this one ehhh..
The AF71F has a much more rounded and jazzy sound that this Epiphone. First you should know that it comes with strings 0.9 rounds .. If you change 0.12 per flats will notice that the sound is very interesting, basically the typical sound of Jazzbox old. Besides your technique is quite "gipsy" your hand, the angle of the pick, the downstrokes deal with other sound. I'm not a fan boy, but I was surprised your comment, Ibanez (artcore) is an economic line, but is clearly better than Epiphone, whose woods and finishes are a mess.
+Pepe Parada ok but I tried to like this guitar but after trying flatwounds and going through a nice Roland combo amp at school it just wasn't cutting it for me the tone was to sharp. So I strongly disagree why. Btw I'd love to hear you post a video of the "amazing sounding jazzy" guitar
spainguit I have the guitar as well. I bought it for 150$ with the hard shell case. I know what you mean about the sound of it. I ended up switching strings to standards and I’ve seemed to enjoy It now. I’m not a pro tho just a begginer so it’s been a fun experience but when I had those other strings on it I could not stand them
I got it for $320 out the door can't complain its fun and looks the part.
Cap't Jack I got mine for 150 with a hard shell case included
How does the AF71F compare to the Gretsch G100CE?
SSSSSSSweet!!!!!
All solid woods? Give it a rest.
I raised an eyebrow at that, too! I can't see solid wood at this price point - even from Ibanez.

Could not find a spec as to how much this guitar weighs. I know that the semi's are around 6 or 7 pounds. Somebody help me out here. Thanks.
