The problem with Everton and us as a fan base, is we can be sentimental and grow attached to players. Instead of being ruthless and treating football for what it is, a business. DCL, lovely chap I am sure. And Clubs will always have iconic players, local lads made good etc. But if we're offered good money, and that money can be used to bring forward the squad, or pay down debt, or go towards the final stages of the new ground, or even pay the wages of the canteen staff, whatever it is, if it can be used to do something positive.

Fiscally it’s prudent to recycle the striker position (either DCL and/or Beto) and Onana… and then try and squeeze as much money as possible for Branthwaite with a perspective to keep him.

If we get what the club feel is an acceptable offer for DCL. I think we should take it. buying Adebayo, I think depends on the fee. We've been linked with Che Adams (again) hes on a free, so I could see that happening.
Everton need to give Dom until the end of May to decide, otherwise sell in June. But we shouldn’t fuck about all summer over this, or let the player dictate the narrative
Beto is not a premier league striker, chermiti is not ready which is obvious, and with all the uncertainty we need to keep dcl. It would be completely irresponsible to just let him go. We must somehow get him to re-sign. It's too much risk right now to replace him.

I think it's important to keep a core of players that "are" Everton. There's no loyalty in football anymore, but someone who knows the club in and out, is very important as a basic fanconnector. DCL is that type of a player.
You mentioned Boniface and he made his name in Norway. We have Arsenal's best player and toppscorer in England and Spain. Look to Norway and unwrapp the next Norwegian gem😊

If anyone else were in Doms position they'd be weighing their options too, the bottom line is if he wont sign, we have to sell and that's that. people like to reduce Dom down to his goals per game stat and that's gives a very false picture of his worth to the team, but we cant not get money for a decent striker if he wont sign.

I think DCL is class. Obviously the issue is his injury record. As is said in the commentary DCL finished the season strongly. Scores important goals for us. Didn't we pay 30 mil for Beto, and we would accept 20 mil for DCL????

Isak is in talks for a new contract at Newcastle however they want to sell Wilson and replace him which is where these Calvert Lewin links have came from. Think Howe would turn him into an absolute beast of a striker to be fair but he wouldn’t be my first choice at all, miles better strikers out there than Calvert Lewin.

Beto is not good enough and even though DCL has scored few goals we look a better team when he plays. If I knew DCL would stay fit I wouldn't hesitate to keep hold of him. As it is I think we should take a chance on his fitness holding up and keep him.
